A Unique Community

There have been over 500 000 sign ups on here and although of course not eeeevery body is active, I truly believe that each and every one of us has a role to play within this unique community. Whether you are only interested in helping others or mainly oriented in the creation of your website and or even both, you all have something to offer and things to learn from others. Participation is what makes Wealthy Affiliate so powerful. There's no limit to its development and its enrichment.

Everyone Is Equal On Wealthy Affiliate

Whether you're a "newbie" (I don't like this word lol) or an "old" member within the community you all have the same chances of success. It all depends on how you use the program and what your short/medium and long term goals are. A new member can teach an ambassador something they didn't know, and vice versa. That's the absolute beauty of Wealthy Affiliate, don't you think?! =)

Being involved regularly: the key to success

You probably already have noticed that there is a ranking on Wealthy Affiliate, which sorts members according to their general activity on the site. Now, being number 320,382 on here does not mean that you are not going to succeed! Anyone can achieve the top 200, the top 100 or even the top 25! It's only a matter of commitment, regularity and goals!

Why This Ranking?

I personally think that this ranking is a great way to motivate the "troops"! =) The more you work, the more you put what you've learned into action and the more the community will reward you! Again being at the "bottom of the scale" does not mean that you are not as good as anyone else, but rather that you can still move forward and climb! =)

How Does It Work ?

As Kyle explains it very well on here (https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/kyle/blog/be-an-am...) you will see your ranking go up and down more or less each day depending on the work you provide on here. Logically, each time you do something (on your website or within the community), you'll earn "points". These points are calculated by complex algorithms that only the creators of WA can understand ;) and these points evaluate your activity on Wealthy Affiliate.

Nicely done.Although, it takes a massive amount of time even for one who works from home to manage all the steps. Its best to take baby steps and learn as you go or grow. Regarding ambassadorship that doesn't mean much. If you focus on helping others as you grow and learn good things come to you as go you along.

I have been close, over the years with high rankings but it isn't as important as helping others and yourself become a success. So basically, I am trying to say there must be a balance. If you spend every second on here doing every step you mention how will you ever succeed with your own sites and business? As I have noticed over the years, only a few people at that high level of ambassadorship have made a full time income. Why, because they are too busy watching chat, etc they are getting distracted.

If you have a real online business then you know it takes a lot of time out of your day to perform the duties you need to perform to be a success. So again, make sure you create a logical balance between here on WA and your own endeavors.

You are absolutely right! One must find the right balance between helping others and working on their website.
The 10 steps I mentioned don't take all my time though. I usually do all this in the morning and spend the rest of my day focusing on my website, which allows me to both help others and focus on my own business. And I definitely don't get too much into the chat room lol, because it's too easy to get distracted in there!
Some people will just want to work on their website, which is absolutely fine as well. We all have different goals.
Getting better rankings on here is by no means an obligation or a necessity to earn money, but it can be an asset to your business & allow you to earn more commissions through the WA program.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
All the best
