Sotiris, Don't take this the wrong way, but can I ask why you don't put your efforts into actually affiliate marketing. Do you find you make more money doing the training videos?

There are so many people on the net showing how to do affiliate marketing and that they earn XXXXX amounts. But if that was the case wouldn't they do more affiliate marketing. Just a thought I keep having. I know if I was making xxxxxxxx amounts each month I would want to replicate that with another niche.

1 impression I get from all the affiliate experts out there, is that the only way to make big money out of affiliate marketing is to teach people affiliate marketing,

I was getting that impression, too, Gary. Fortunately that is not the case. I was watching a training video the other day and the person doing the training discovered she had made three sales that day. Getting involved in the WA community will give you access to lots of success stories that don't involve teaching affiliate marketing. They just seem to get most of the ink.

Teaching is a part of laying the foundation. You want to overachieve when you give value to other people. In return you may gain follows who wish to know more about who you are. When you mix a few more characteristics in you have built a following that you will be able to influence.

A part of the success formula is called paying it forward. In order to not become some type of unfulfilled monster, you need to stay generous and humble. Offering free training can accomplish this and may or may not have a direct return on investment.

The part that you must understand is that in order to make this world a place that is better off, you need to make sure you have left a true mark on it. What better way is there than to save other people time by helping them to avoid the same pitfalls.

Three different ways to look at why somebody would spend an amount of time providing training instead of focusing on just their own selfish desire to earn more money.

Dear Garry,
Members are encouraged to develop training that complies with the WA philosophy. Bumping around the internet only leads to shiny object syndrome and incorrect information. Please don't miss understand me. There is a plethora of data on the net which gives the world access to information and ideas that are invaluable. But the WA process works. So my thoughts are the more information and training provided to us the better. I know of no other community which provides so much time and effort into paying it forward.
I count my blessing to have found this program.

I started out in the finance niche - started making good money... Created a blog about how I was doing it, and it turned out I started making money from that too... So I "fell into" the make money online niche & I suspect that's the same path a lot of the other successful marketers have took. If you can make money from doing it, and also sharing how to do it - then why not do both :)

But just to prove that the only way to make money from affiliate marketing ISN'T by teaching it - step back & take a look at some of the biggest affiliate sites out there. They include the likes of insurance comparison sites & hotel booking sites. Those guys are earning ridiculous affiliate money, and none of it is coming from teaching affiliate marketing.

It's simply because you're immersing yourself in learning affiliate marketing that you're coming across a lot of people teaching it. It's like if you buy a new car, you might think it's rare but the second you buy it you start seeing them everywhere.

I do lots of affiliate marketing and have been for 14 years. I don't make the training videos for the money, I do it because I get better at affiliate marketing by teaching it. Of course, understanding a niche and being able to show people what to do makes you an authority at what you do which also helps.

If you want to get good at anything learn, do and then teach it.

If you do not know what you are doing there is very few people who will be willing to buy things from you on your advice.

By taking action creating content, making posts and videos, answering questions. You make yourself a lot more approachable for your target audience.

This also builds confidence as well as you know what works and what does not.

So yes just take action whatever you do and keep building your online empire :-)

P.S. when you do things or teach them regularly, you can do a video or training in 15mins - 1 hour which isn't a huge amount of your day consider other people spend 8 to 12 hours working a job.

True.....I did once read somewhere, that by teaching something makes you remember and learn things better. Ps keep up the good work, I learn quite a bit from your vids.

So, true Dale, that's why I'm seeing a lot of teaching because I'm searching....100% right mate.

I bought a VW camper van a few years ago, not many around where I live, but like you say I saw them all the time after I bought mine...

Thanks for pointing this out to me.

I like your points, but to say at the end that they provide videos, not for there own selfish desire to make money. when 2 of your 3 points are about the benefits YOU can gain.

Show me proof of 1 person/website who is teaching affiliate marketing, is doing it to solely help others, with no financial gain whatsoever in the trainer's reasons.

I'm not saying you can't make sales, I have and will continue to make more sales in my niche. What I'm saying is there is a lot of experts out there teaching affiliate marketing, and it seems that is how they make their money. That is where all there time and effort is spent. Teaching Affiliate Marketing

I would rather learn from somebody who is actually doing affiliate marketing as defined in the dictionary....(selling products). Like Jay, Kyle, Carson who shares with you their sites they make money from.

Don't get me wrong, I love the training here and I learn from Sotiris videos, I was just asking him if that's how he makes his money. Doing training.

And yes I totally agree with you about the shiny object syndrome, These experts are saying make xxxxx in 24 hours/1 day/30 days. Then they tell you, you need to start a blog and we all know it takes longer than 24 hours/1 day/30 days to make any money. These people are teaching affiliate marketing to make money, that's it, there is no paying it forward

and yes 8 to 10 in a month I believe will be enough to keep up a steady
consistency of good ones!
