From there, you'll be heading in to your Dashboard with attention by hitting the widget tab, and come to a page like this!

Notice the number footer widgets in this theme. GeneratePress theme has 0-5 predefined footers. You can choose any of the shown footer widget with which you may be placing your Privacy policy.

Your next move is to pull up an Arbitrary Text to be placed in the Footer box. The Footer box will open and give you the choices to place your Privacy Policy.

In this example, we are pulling up 4 text widgets shown in the next page.

I thought I'd have go at resetting my privacy policy but my page doesn't look anything like yours. I went into Widgets and all I could find was Sub footer 1 through to Sub footer 4. With nothing in the boxes. Jim

Check if you're using the recent themes like GeneratePress - lightweight and mobile friendly!

New themes Have many footer options.

Thanks for the training H. This is helpful.

Another way of doing that is to create a menu, I normally called it 'Legal' and use the Custom Menu widget to place it to the footer.
