Hi Aparna,
That's very helpful - it's so easy to forget all the steps, but with a checklist like this it makes it a lot easier.
There's just one thing I would add - view the article on your phone.
It's vital that it looks good on mobile devices.
Thank you, and enjoy your day!

Hi, Aparna
Great list!
I have a question about your referral to backlinks. Aren't links made by you to other posts or pages on your site called internal links? Backlinks are typically links from someone else's site back to you, not made by you. If you link a post from one of your websites to another post on a second website that you own, is that technically still an internal link, or is it a backlink? I think it still might be an internal link.
Thanks,
Frank

Good stuff. The other thing I do automatically is go to Google Search Console and immediately get them looking for my post. My site is about 8 months old. I discovered about 2 months ago that roughly 40% of my published article had not been indexed by Google even though it had been several weeks. So as soon as I publish my latest post, I just copy and paste the link into Google Search Console so they can start looking for it right away. That seems to speed things up a bit. Great work!

Aparna, first and most important, CONGRATULATIONS! for taking this big step!!
I am VERY proud of you. 🙂
As good as our training is at WA, the devil is in the details and this is an area that required some additional detail.
You have mentioned a few things that I take for granted, e.g. linking pictures.
I also appreciate that you have included a .ppt which I have saved and will print and place on my action board.
I look forward to following the series.
Well done!
