The Final Checklist
- Run your content through Copyscape or the Pro version of Grammarly, if you want to check for any unintentional imprints of plagiarism
- Add your article's link in the 'Give & Take Comments Thread' on WA https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/authoring-writing-content/the-give-and-take-comment-thread-get-website-engagement
- Submit your content to Google Search Console (GSC) for indexing
- Social Media Channels
- Publish a link to your new article, with a short description, on the official social media channels of your website:
- WebTalk
- Quora
- Publish a link to your new article, with a short description, on your personal social media channels too
- Post it in a few of your WhatsApp & Instagram groups for additional comments
- Give your best friends a ring, and tell them to check out your new blog.
- Publish a link to your new article, with a short description, on the official social media channels of your website:
- Make a YouTube video of your article. Embed this video into your article at a suitable place.
- Make a pod cast of the same topic, if you can
- Ask for comments through SiteComments. When you start getting comments, remember to add some affiliate links in the comments of others, and your own.
Do not just write and publish an article ...
Write, check in details, only then publish.
Save this list, or better still, print it out and place it under the glass on your table. I have made a PowerPoint slide for everyone's benefit. You can download that here:

Alternatively, please download this ready-reckoner which contains all the vital points, stage-wise.
A blank format is also enclosed, if you want to fill in yours on your own:
If you wish to add anything to this training, please do not hesitate to put it in the comments below. Maybe we can expand this list to further include what has inadvertantly been missed out.
This is the first bit of training that I finally got down to creating. Hurray! I would love a Comment and a Like.
That's very helpful - it's so easy to forget all the steps, but with a checklist like this it makes it a lot easier.
There's just one thing I would add - view the article on your phone.
It's vital that it looks good on mobile devices.
Thank you, and enjoy your day!

Great list!
I have a question about your referral to backlinks. Aren't links made by you to other posts or pages on your site called internal links? Backlinks are typically links from someone else's site back to you, not made by you. If you link a post from one of your websites to another post on a second website that you own, is that technically still an internal link, or is it a backlink? I think it still might be an internal link.
Thanks,
Frank
I am VERY proud of you. 🙂
As good as our training is at WA, the devil is in the details and this is an area that required some additional detail.
You have mentioned a few things that I take for granted, e.g. linking pictures.
I also appreciate that you have included a .ppt which I have saved and will print and place on my action board.
I look forward to following the series.
Well done!
