The lessons of PLR are simple.

Purchasing private label rights articles and eBooks for resale is relatively easy and quick. PLR and MMR products are cheap, but understanding the differences between PLR and MRR gives you a better understanding of what you’re buying. It also lets you know how you can sell both types so that you have a better way to market your products.

In addition to allowing you to purchase a product, PLR also allows you to change or modify it in any way you want to. Basically, you can treat a PLR product as if you created it yourself. However, you are not allowed the claim to the resell rights to the PLR content. In other words, you cannot pass on the Private Label Rights of the product to your customers.

Great post. I do think that we should consider PLR content more. I remember being told once that a lot of very well known entrepreneurs use PLR content quite often as the basis for their online courses and content.
If you buy from reputable PLR sources they will usually have a limited number of each PLR package available, which means that they don't oversell any articles. So it definitely pays to check out each PLR company individually first.
You can find great PLR providers to match your particular niche, and they often offer a monthly membership option. Purchasing PLR content really isn't expensive, and a lot of people give free PLR content to their subscribers also as an added incentive.
I have used PLR in the past, which I changed and rewrote to suit my own voice and topics. I would always change the title to any eBooks or articles as well. The idea is to make it your own, with your own voice.
At the moment I am working on an online course, the basis of which is PLR. I only purchase from people that I know I can trust. There are a number of reputable people who work from home writing and providing PLR content for people just like us to use.
So they are hoping also that we will continue to support them by purchasing their products.
On the plus side when you're short on time like I am it really helps to already have the basis for an article available to use.
I would definitely recommend PLR to anyone here.

Can you suggest some reputable PLR providers? I'm considering this option but never knew about it so would like to chose wisely.

Hi,
Yes, definitely. I have purchased some really great PLR before from all of these websites. The quality is very good.
Listmagnets.com is Alice Seba's website. She provides business and self-development topics. She is great.
PiggyMakesBank.com is Tracy Roberts and Susanne Myers brainchild. They already have a self-help membership and are just launching a new business membership, but you can also purchase great individual articles from them.
Toolsformotivation.com is Justin Popovic and Ted Payne, and they provide great self-help and positive mindset content. When you sign up for their list you get a freebie PLR gift every week which is really high quality.
Indiebizchicks.com is Crissy Herron's website, and she provides great business content including workshops that are reasonably priced.
Whitelabelperks.com is Kelly Mc Causey and Samantha. They have a membership, but you can also purchase new article packs, social media graphics, coloring pages and more from them separately. They offer business and self-help topics.
All of the above offer regular low cost deals on their new articles, audios and workshops as they are launching them.
I have to mention Coachglue.com from Melissa Ingold and Nicole Dean. They have a membership program that is more high end in price, but they give a lot for that. I do know people who are running membership clubs with the content that Melissa and Nicole provide each month. But it isn't cheap.
There are many PLR providers out there. I know from personal experience that the ones I've mentioned are above board and offer great content.
As always it depends on your own needs, and do check them all out well. There are many PLR providers out there, and some of them are not so good!
Just choose wisely. Most will offer some sort of freebie gifts when you sign up for their list, which will allow you to get a real feel for the quality of content they provide.
It is much cheaper than hiring a copywriter to work for you. But you do still have to strip away any graphics, and re-work the content to make it your own. Sometimes great articles can be made into a great audio instead. It just takes a little imagination, but it is worthwhile and saves time because you don't always have to start from scratch.
Good luck and I hope this helps,
Sue.

Thanks! this is great, I'm sure that I can take plenty of inspiration from their material to write my own content.
Had you ever use this for build listing?

Not yet. I created my own optin gifts. But I am intending to in the near future. I use the content mostly to inspire new blog posts which I change around and edit to suit my needs. It is great for inspiration, and very often a lot of research is already done for you.
But do strip it back at the very least, and add your own new graphics.
All the best,
Sue.

I sat in on a webinar for this. I understood it to be very expensive if its what I am thinking. But, in the long run is very profitable according to the people who presented it. The webinar was on putting your label on someone else's product and selling it on Amazon. Maybe not the same thing, not sure. :o)

I have never purchased any. I am always afraid they have been used many times by a lot of people. So you would for sure have to modify for it to be in your own voice and not get dinged for duplicate content.

I will investigate this Sam. E-mail mkearns227@gmail.com It looks like evergreen content under the right label. Somewhere I saw offers like this once and lost what it was. Thank you!
