If you are at the stage of your online journey where you are ready to start building your email list (and social following) then competitions and 'viral giveaways' is a great way to boost your efforts.
I have been using the free version of KingSumo to run giveaways for three of my websites and have found it to be extremely effective for growing my brand and online presence.
Note: KingSumo does not have an affiliate program at this stage, however them may have one in future. Therefore, I am not sharing any affiliate links or trying to sell anything in this tutorial.
I am, however, keen to share with you what is working for me as I believe this will be of interest to my fellow WA members.

gosh that's an old training I did some time ago. Great to hear it's still useful! How are you anyway? It's a bit chilly down here on the West Coast, but we are still having some stunning winter days! Now that we're quieter, I'm focussing on revamping the website and all that marketing stuff... yay.

Great marketing strategy. I use to use Raffle Copter for the same thing and drove a ton of new members into our social network using contest. No longer have the social network but it's a great way to boost blog subscribers as well.
