Google Search Console: Issues you Want to FIX!
In the last lesson, you saw that when you click on the 'Fix Mobile Usability issues' button, you are taken to your Google Search Console Dashboard, where you will see the exact URL on which the issues were detected.
We've already walked through the first 3 Screens. Here we will continue on...
If you clicked on the INSPECT button to view more errors, you will need to "Go back" to the previous page to access the Validate Fix button. DO NOT CLICK THIS BUTTON UNTIL YOU HAVE FIXED YOUR ERRORS!
AFTER YOU'VE FINISHED THE APPROPRIATE EDITS TO YOUR URL (POST), and CHECKED the edits with your Smartphone to ensure they are compliant, then you will go back and click on VALIDATE FIX.
You will immediately see this message, stating that validation has started:
You will alsoreceive another email that looks like this:
Basically, Google checks to verify that you did, in fact, fix the issues that it had previously detected.
As you can see above, it states that the validation may take a few days. In my case, it took less than 48 hours.
If you want to monitor the progress, simply click on the provided button and you will be taken back to your GSC Dashboard where you can read a progress message.
Otherwise, just wait to receive the confirmation email.
