The search button.
The search button is your friend. I know everyone is special in there own way, but nine times out of ten, you are not the first person to have this question or problem. Now you can fire off that post, and hope someone responds lightning fast, however it normally does not happen that way. Normally it takes a while for a few people to read your post, and sometimes even longer for someone that knows the answer or solution to your problem. This is why searching is better. Not only may your question already be answered, there maybe more to the question that you thought, and the answers to that may also already be there.
Here is an example for WA,
Question: What are some good keywords to use for "water4gas" in an adwords campaign?
Now I could fire off a post and wait a while for some people to read it and post back, or I could search for it.
Search> water4gas adwords 10 results,
As you can't see in the image, a few post down, there are some post about which keywords one person was using, however there is something more important I learned from this search than the keywords.
Down in result number five, I see that Google is blocking adword campaigns for "water4gas", this is something I may have not know from just posting "What keywords should I use"
While searching may seem like it will take more time to get an answer to your question, nine out of ten you will normally get an answer and more information faster. Some things to keep in mind, search for just the highlights, I searched for "water4gas", "adwords". Not "What" "are" "some" "good" "keywords" "to" "use" "for" "water4gas" "in" "an" "adwords" "campaign", as most forum software will toss almost every post to you then. Second don't spend an entire day searching, there are diminishing returns. I normally give myself three to ten minutes, if I can't find a thread about it, I post and go on with my day.
