Please note that this training assumes that you already have your site setup in Google Search Console. If you haven't, you can refer to the guide here: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/60011...

When I first got started, I was always eager to check my content rankings soon as I published my contents. However, new contents don't always get indexed by Google immediately.

Thanks to another member in WA (thanks Edy), I've learned to get my new contents ranked within minutes. Here's how it's done:

Step 1:

You need to go into your search console page, and navigate to Crawl > Fetch as Google

Thank you. I tend to do a Google fetch, after Google+ING my post first, and have it indexed very quickly.

One question though:- Daily, my Google Index results vary. One day its say 398 indexed = awesome. Next it's 400+ = awesomer. Next its say 388 or something like that. Whats going on guys?

Hey Philip,

None of us can tell you what Google is doing nor why. We can only guess.

Here is my opinion on constantly Google searching your site's post: I DO hope you will read this post as I have shared pertinent info here.

Hope this helps you.

You don't have to worry about that because at last Google will index all links. But at starting it is like that with everyone's website.

Good tutorial bro but what i've noticed is that you best delete your browser history plus cookies and plugins to get an actual index rating on google .. you may appear higher than you actually are rating without deleting cookies etc.

Hey there, thanks for the input. The rank is actually checked via incognito mode to prevent interference of browsing history and cookies.

Hi Sadie, if you don't see them in the index you can definitely fetch them again in search console.
You can google site:http://yourwebsite.com to see if your old content are indexed.

Great walk-through! This would make a good step to include in one's 'to do' list when posting articles!
