I liked this training on email subscribing. I'm trying to get both of my websites set up like this and offer a free Ebook. but they have to go to the sidebar to sign up. should it have a pop up menu like you have?

It can vary if you use a plugin such as thrive leads you can split test all your different optin forms to see which one performs best every website is different so always test each one. You can have more than one optin running all the time.
