As part of our training here at WA we are encouraged to start posting on Facebook to increase our engagement. I would like to provide you with some more detail on how you can leverage Facebook to not only increase views to your website but also to create sales.
This training will run you through how to set up your Profile and ensure your Privacy Settings are adequate.
Do You Need a Profile, a Group or a Page?
First up let's explore the differences and when you would use what on Facebook.
Your Profile
This is your personal brand and you should treat it as such. It’s not the place to put your drunken duck face photos from a big night out!
Your profile is likewise not a place to barf affiliate links 🤮, advertise your business or try to sell people. That is just spammy and it will not result in sales … rather it will simply damage your personal brand.
When a new "friend" checks out your profile you want your wall to appear professional and be all about your niche.
Your Group
This is your tribe, it should be full of like-minded people who are looking for information and inspiration in your chosen niche. There is much that goes into choosing a name, header image, what to post in your group, how often, who and how to accept people into your group etc..
✅ BUT a vibrant group full of warm prospects can be your ticket to financial freedom IF you treat them right.✅
Your Page
The only reason to have a Facebook Page is if you are going to use paid FB advertising. For the time being we will assume that you want to go down the organic/free route to generate traffic.
2 Tasks You Should Start Right Now
I would strongly encourage you to put time and effort into building your profile and starting or building your groups.
These are the two most worthwhile activities to start generating organic traffic via Facebook that you can start TODAY.
In this tutorial we will be talking about setting up your Facebook Profile so it works for you, not against you.
Your profile, when correctly structured, will act as a funnel to send people to your group which is where you will eventually make your offers and start generating some revenue.
The topics on my profile seem to be different to the ones you have stated here.
I have a header image and my profile photo. Instead of an Intro, I have an About section where there are line items for Overview, Work and Education, Places Lived, Contact and Basic Info, Family and Relationships, Details about me and Life's Events.
Can you advise me how to set this up? I can send you a screenshot via PM if necessary.
Thanks for your help.
Edwin
Due the fact I was cluttering up promotions all over the place I was banned. Yes, I was impatient and tried to take shortcuts and now I need to accept the consequences.
Now I just need to learn properly what posts I should share and how to offer value. I think this is the hardest part...
Also when it comes to making a closed group and use that as a funnel to your email list... I need to learn more about that as well.
You are such an inspiration with your trainings!
Keep up the good work! 😊
I see where I messed. Instead of creating a Facebook group profile, I created a page! Well, that was a while ago.
When you get a chance, please have a look on follow me and advise if I should change anything.
Although my followers are not liking or commenting on my posts; google analytics tells a different story.
I get returning visitors via Facebook with a very low bounceback rate. Which means they do read my content although they don't seem to partake in discussions, or am I wrong?
