Hi, recently I read a question from a member asking what is the best plugin to create tables.

The most popular free one appears to be TablePress, but there are number of others, both free and paid if you want to search on Google.

But why add another plugin, free or paid, that you don't need when you can create your tables using basic HTML?

You can create tables using TinyMCE Advanced, which can be a little complicated and would mean adding another plugin, which we're trying to avoid. So, in this tutorial I will attempt to show how to create tables using some basic HMTL. Interest? then let's get started.

To members not familiar with coding, I would highly recommend creating a test site, as all the coding in this tutorial can be copied and pasted, and you can play around with it as much as you like without creating any problems.

Whether free members, who joined before the change in the number of websites allowed, are still entitled to three websites I'm not sure, but, unfortunately, free members who joined after the change are only entitled to one, which probably doesn't allow for a test site.
