Email Marketing Advantages

Many six-figure entrepreneurs and online marketer have and STILL use email marketing. Firstly, think of it as being able to pitch a client over and over again as opposed to attempting to entice them to visit your webpage repeatedly.

Some consider email annoying and simply provide a junk email address to signup for things. (Yea, I do that too!) BUT, when I come across an authority in my niche market - a person that teaches me something with every blog post, believe me, I use my BEST email address, because they are providing stellar content on their website AND I also wanna learn how they market their products or services via email. I have several lists I'm subscribed too and I read every message from those guys! It's a great teaching tool.

TOP FIVE Reasons Email Marketing WORKS!

1. Email is an easy way to reach mobile customers.

2. It's an effective way to keep customers informed.

3. Email coupons drive online and in-store sales.

4. It's easy to customize and integrate into other marketing tactics.

5. Email marketing is inexpensive.

Okay, this training is obviously not to be taken in until you have finished your bootcamp and have a few pages and posts out there. Also, this implementation is using a pop-up or slide-in mechanism to serve up the email subscription form. This can also be done via a Landing Page, your sidebar or implemented as a widget just below your post content.

For more on Landing Pages, see my previous (soon-to-be updated) training here:

How to add a Landing Page to WordPress

Okay, this training is specifically for the free MailMunch Plugin that I thought I would show you as it does a very nice job and is quick to setup. Oh, and did I mention FREE?

Here is the MailMunch pop-up (also known as Pop-over) optin form as a snapshot:

Also, if you want to see in action it on my test website, just go here:

Here is the built-in initial free template for the pop-up/pop-over optin:

You've likely seen this or another flavor of it on many websites before. Well, now I'll teach you how to implement this snazzy tool.

UPDATE:

If you're interested in how to do this same technique with a plug-in that ALSO has Social Sharing icons, see this training I just finished here:

What plug-in can I use if I just want to have a widget at the side to invite people to leave their email address for updates? I don't like the idea of pop-ups (even if delayed) as personally I find them annoying.

This very same plugin will to that. Simply choose the the SIDEBAR widget option for your sidebar instead of the Popover option. But, I can tell you from experience, I have a 25% or better optin rate with the popover.

Cool! Thanks for the input too - maybe I'll test run both options to see which works for me better!
