Tip 1
Start with the end.
Think about what you want to accomplish with your article.
- Do you want signups to a program?
- Do you want to sell a product?
- Do you want people to contact you?
- Do you want an email address? (give a free e-book)
- Do you want to inform?
- Do you want to solve a problem?
What do you want people to do is the first question you have to answer to yourself.

Loes on your example of health you meant we would have 14 blog posts right? Not 14 blogs.

Hi Loes,
What a great tutorial. I am hopeless at planning a blog. I tend to wing it and it takes me a long time to finish one. It's because I have a messy mind I think. I don't have any particular organisation in how I go about it and often I create the headings in the articles as I write. However this makes it very difficult to actually teach someone else how to go about writing a blog. I am hoping to help my daughter with her own blogging and she has some issues with how to start and set it out. I am going to bookmark your training here to my favourites so I can bring her here for a good starting point. Thanks again for your tireless and helpful contributions to the WA community.
