To grow your brand and traffic, use SEO tips and keyword research tools. Also, use Pinterest and many other marketing hacks. Even experienced content marketers and bloggers struggle to attract quality traffic to their blog posts.
But it's not enough. Sometimes blogging can feel like there is never enough. A brand new blog cannot be run on autopilot, especially when it is still in its infancy.
Your blogging journey will determine how quickly and sustainably you grow, whether you are able to convert your audience into loyal subscribers or followers.
Today, I'd like to share with you a content marketing or blogging hack: content syndication.
Content syndication, in simple terms, is when you take existing content and republish it on different platforms to increase your audience and get maximum attention for your articles.
Never has a marketer or blogger said, "I just want 10 people to read this post". If you are in this category, may I suggest that you consider a career shift?
We all want more traffic, validation, and more eyes to our content, it's obvious. This is and should be the goal of every content marketer or blogger. Content syndication is the art of using multiple platforms to reach audiences larger than your own.
Why You Should Implement Content Syndication?
Although I believe social media marketing and SEO are excellent ways to grow an audience, there are times when you have to be visible where people want or need you to be.
I bet it is not the content of your site that is problematic. They are extremely helpful in generating traffic and income. However, there are limitations on how many people will see your content.
This is especially true if you only share your content with a limited number of followers, waiting for the article to go viral. This is precisely why you should be syndicating your content.
Readers will give you validation and loyal traffic. You must be there in as many places as your target audience is. This goes beyond the major social media platforms. It depends on your blog's niche. A news blog might only grow from Twitter, for example, as a marketing channel. Others may not be so lucky.
Guest posts can help you scale your reach quicker than regular posts. While guest posts are an amazing way to increase your reach and gain relevant backlinks to your blog, it can be difficult for new bloggers to get such gigs or to find the time to write additional posts each month.
Earn money whenever you want – There are some platforms that pay you to write and republish great content. This is what everybody wants.
You can become a thought leader – Mark Manson tweets occasionally and Neil Patel answers Quora questions regularly. Your targeted reach will make you a more well-known authority in your field. Targeted forums are a great way to get a lot of help.
This is where content syndication really comes in to play.
I haven't made full use of it yet but will start utilizing it more. it is well worth the effort.
