So how do you write your why statement?
Well for each it is different. For me as a business owner I feel freedom, I am liberated from a JOB and being Just Over Broke and will not have to worry about someone else deciding what my time is worth. If I want more I just work smarter and harder, then scale up.
My why has nothing to do with my children. If I wanted immediate security for them a Job is the ticket. If I want to send them to college have a minimal retirement, and take the safe rout a JOB is in order. A Good Job will come in time, I have proven this over and over by work ethics and brain training.
So my why has to be about me and why I am an entrepreneur.
This is the statement on my desktop:
My why. I love my freedom, my choice, my flexibility. I love leadership, I love helping others. For me freedom is essential and I know I can only be the best me if I take off the leash of a 9-5 and run with the big dogs. To maintain my integrity and follow my passions is essential to my happiness.
My Why is because I am an Entrepreneur. Powerful discovery, powerful life-altering feeling.
