Now just because you have friended someone doesn't mean they stay on your friends list forever.
If you have people on there that you’ve never heard of, who don’t comment on your posts now etc.. delete them. You will eventually need room for your quality friends anyway.
It is also a good idea to periodically go through your friends list, I do it once a month, and have a cull. There are a couple of ways to do this:
The Birthday Method
Click on Friends on your profile, this will show friends with birthdays coming up. Simply hover over their name, click Friend and you will see Unfriend as an option, click that and you're done. Move on to the next one.
If you do this every day or at least once a week you can keep on top of your friend list and have them constantly circulating. Which is a good thing 😀
The M Method
If you have bulk friends on your list that you’ve had for ages and very few of them engage with your posts it’s time for a MASS DELETE.
The M Method is the easiest way to do this and I have done a walk through video of this method to more easily show you how it’s done.

You do not need expensive automated software to get and remove friends. FB is a wake up to automated systems, they want real people using their platform, act like one and you will have very little chance of ending up in FB jail.
❌ I know this might sound harsh, but having people on your friends list who never engage with your posts is doing you harm. The FB algorithm sees that none of your friends are interested in your content and stops showing your posts to anyone.
Boo not good for engagement … so get unfriending❗️
It is much better to have 500 engaged friends than 5000 who never comment on your posts.
I hope this comprehensive training has helped you make sense of friending on FB. It’s essential to get eyes on your content and this is an easy and free way to do that and speed up your journey to success.
Of course if you have any questions I’m only too happy to help. Pop them in the comments and I will elaborate on any areas.
My posts on there are few and far between but each one relates to me personally and the page also has a link to a small charity that I run locally.
I hear what you say about your wall being a tool for your business but do you have a page as well or just your personal wall? And do you have similar tips as these for business/fan pages too?
Cheers Heidi

I have been moaning for a few months now that none of my posts don't even get a simple like. I played a game where you entered friends @names and I did not get a single person to acknowledge the post or play along.
So thank you, many times over for this blog.
Going to put it into action.
Stay safe,
Sue
