Electricity,Electronics, Computers And Sales

To become a good sales person of anything we have to have some solid background information of what we are selling. Electrical, electronics and computer products are numbered in the thousands or hundreds of thousands. I feel that getting familiar with the terminologies in these fields is a good thing to do. Even as a consumer, forget about being a sales person, it would be a great idea to learn things about the subject matter.

Electricity Defined

Electricity for all practical purposes is nothing but a flow of electrons or electrical energy. As electricity is a form of energy that is 'flowing' we can assume that this energy can perform work as it moves. We do not see electricity but we can test it, observe its physical effects, measure it with a tester.

How Are Flow Of Electrons Created?

Most electrical power sources or generators produce electricity using just three (3)things. One is magnetic energy, the second component is electrical conductor or wire and the third is relative motion between the wire and the magnetic energy or magnetic field.

Magnetic fields are created using a very small DC (direct current) or battery current flowing through sets of coils of wires mounted on the rotating part of the generator hence the term rotating field. Another sets of coils of wires are then mounted on the stationary part of the generator . As the rotating field rotates in relation to the stationary coils of wires, relative motion between the wires and the electric field is created. Electron flows and voltages are then induced or transferred to the wires on the stationary member or component. Electrical loads tap into this stationary component to receive electrical power.

Hi Joe!

Once we comprehend all the opportunities available with what we learn here at Wealthy Affiliate we become grateful we hopped on this bus before it got to crowded. It's fun to learn and at the same time build our own business.

The first part of your training, were you mentioned learning about the product we want to recommend and not becoming an annoying salesman, reminded me of a funny cartoon here at WA. Here it is:
