The best way for me to describe it so that the novice would understand is the Master Mind Group consists of anywhere from 3 to 10 members that all have varying fields of expertise. Each member has a specific reason for desiring to be a member of the group.

Let’s just say for example you run a widget business. (I love the widget example). What the heck is a widget anyways?

But OK we have a Widget Business…

Of course you as the owner of that business know all about widgets – Right? After all if not what are you doing in the business in the first place?

But you don’t know a whole heap about the necessary aspects of running the business end of things, for example you failed accounting 101. Marketing… well not your cup of tea… Sales well not for you… You have no idea about distribution… I think you get the point. You might know a whole lot about the widgets themselves but are in essence ignorant when it comes to other critical areas of running a successful business.

Well that is where you surround yourself with others that have the necessary knowledge that you do not have, nor desire to attain, because the time necessary to get that knowledge simply would distract you form the necessary tasks at hand.

I think we all realize that we need to be passionate about what we do, and yes, there are some out there that actually enjoy accounting………

So as we find ourselves in need of help we find a group of like-minded people that can bring the skills that we lack to the table of the group. And they can also benefit from the specific knowledge that we have. It is a Win-Win situation for all those involved.

Tasks 0/2 completed
1. defining a master mind group
2. Like minded members

Fourth paragraph is the key to really making the most out the Master Mind Group. It really gets into the essence of improving yourself and your on-line objectives. It would be sort of like a "hot seat", right? Constructive criticism is a tremendous tool for improvement. Leaving comments, as you propose, would also be incredible helpful.

Yes it would but even more importantly it increases site trust and interaction. The more comments on the site the better it is for ranking purposes.

A hot seat of sorts, but the opinions should always be delivered in a constructive manner. yes or yes?

Thnx, Doc :) I created mastermind Group earlier this year and it was great. A wonderful thing indeed. The members who participated 'rocked'.
Thanks for such a thorough study.

C'mon Michelle you know the old saying right?

Opinions are like X#$holes, everyone has one and they all stink, unless of course they agree with mine.

Sorry just had to share.

No actually I love all opinions because that is how we all learn by taking all opinions into consideration and then we can actually maybe see the ill of our ways or another option that may benefit us more.

Now that is the "real me" Michelle. But thanks for making me admit it to the world LOL

Dr. Carl, in manufacturing, I have always utilized this concept - we called it Cross Functional Teams.

You have done an excellent job of using examples and applying the principals to the undertakings here. I would love to be part of a Master Mind Group.

Thank you for putting together and sharing a very valuable Training module.

It's awesome that you came up with this lesson! I have been looking into the Master Mind option to reduce the isolation aspect commonly found when building an on-line business. It's late now where I live, but will go over the lessons carefully. If there is a Master Minding Group in the horizon, I would very much like to be a part of it. Thanks again!

We are automatically one composite mastermind group at WA (The 3% that participate that is) I wouldn't mind 1/2 hr. or so a day contributing to your group DR. Carl! A very well presented training!
