Audience Intent
As a result-oriented online business owner/ marketer, when you are getting the needed content to rank using your target keywords, your searcher intent must be considered also to have to save landing flight. Discover the purpose of the searchers, what do they need or crave for, there are different reasons why people surf the internet, maybe they are looking for a website to learn something new? or they need products and services? This must be done before taking to content writing/creation, you don't jump to writing and start to write when you have done nothing to research, the result might not come that way, even sometimes traffic may come but no conversion, giving out positive content ROI; this characterizes by research, quality, and the intent of the audience.
Concusion
From the above explanations, we can deduce some steps to consider before writing/creating any content so, your effort will not be in vain, make a research about your competitors, study their websites and see people’s comment, check the content they have on the website, which yours must be higher or not lesser than that, know the searchers intent and believe in quality and not quantity alone for you to rank high amidst your competitors.
The reason why I'm emphasizing this point is because I've been searching on WA for guidelines as to the length of an article but i came across information from 2 or 3 years ago so i wasn't sure whether it was still relevant or not. I am extremely happy for your updated post on the matter. I finally have clarity on the issue. Thank you.
