Ok, let's customize the main title, and site description if you want one. Click Appearance>Customize>Site Identity. Your site identity should already be entered in the Site Title box. Now enter your site description in the Tagline box, making sure that Hide Site Title and Hide Site Tagline are both unchecked.
Below is the CSS as it appears in the theme editor:
.site-header {
position: relative;
}
.inside-header {
padding: 20px 40px;
}
.main-title {
margin: 0;
font-size: 25px;
line-height: 1.2em;
word-wrap: break-word;
font-weight: bold;
text-transform: none;
}
.site-description {
margin: 0;
line-height: 1.5;
font-weight: normal;
text-transform: none;
font-size: 15px;
}
Don't help very much, as you can see in he previous page, so let's add some Additional CSS:
.site-header {
background-color: #beffff;
}
.main-title a{
margin: 0;
font-family: arial;
font-size: 30px;
color: blue;
font-weight: 600;
text-transform: none;
}
.site-description {
font-family: arial;
font-style: italic;
color: #352ece;
margin: 0;
line-height: 1.5;
font-weight: 500;
text-transform: none;
font-size: 19px;
}
Your main title should now look like this:
Happy with that? Next up customizing the menu.
I'm very glad I found your tutorial. This is fantastic information. I'm not ready to do this part yet, but here's a question...
In your main navigation, is there a way I can put the navigation headings in each separate box with some spaces between them?
How are you doing? I hope all is going well for you. You're in Spain?
Kind regards,
Monica
