In this tutorial, I show a fellow WA member how to make use of custom menus in the Wordpress Theme "2010" to change the location of a privacy policy. The issue at hand is that the privacy policy is currently located in the main menu, but it should be in the footer.

This video will be useful for anyone who is using the 2010 theme, or is interested taking advantage of custom menus to optimize site navigation.

Nathaniel, I just got it to work. In this theme I went to custom and then clicked on ADD and it went into the footer menu selection box. So, I think I understand it now the test will be when I do sidebars. I appreciate you helping me with this.

I'm glad you were able to get it working as you like it.

Hi Nathaniel,
The video opens up and plays OK. I understand it all but when I go to the Widget area
The footer menus are already open without the arrow to open and close and I cannot drag a custom widget to it. Did I miss a step somewhere?

I like what you're talking about, from what I know. Will come back once the video is up, just to see what I might be getting myself into someday.
