Angela, that is one of the most helpful tutorials ever.. Anyone building websites needs to know how to create banners. I've been trying to figure out how to do it for a long time. You are a god-send. Thank you. I'm definitely following you! Thanks again.

Angela, I'd like to save the linked banner on my computer to use on other non-wordpress websites or Facebook. I can't seem to get that to work. Can you tell me how to do that? Thanks!

I don't think you can save it directly to your computer like a regular image.
But what you could do is save it in a word doc or google doc and then add the link to the image in the doc.
or just paste the link under the doc.
However that seems like a lot of extra work.
I'm an organizer so if it were me - I would probably create a new folder in my google drive (cloud storage is the BEST!) and give it a name for the new site.
then save the image in that folder and create a google sheet in the same folder and place the link in one cell - the image file name in another cell then a short description in another so if I go back to look at it later I'll actually know what it's for.
Knowing me, I'd forget after a few days lol

Excellent tutorial Angela! I haven't used pixlr yet, but this looks quite a bit easier to use than PicsArt, which is the one I've been using for adding text to images. I also like the advice to add the image size in the file name so it's easier to find the right one later. I'll have to give this a try.

Thanks so much for sharing!
Best wishes :) ~Sherry
