Short Intro To Landing Pages
We all know the importance of landing pages and why we should have landing pages, there are many useful trainings available which one should refer to explore the subject in detail.
In general, any page can be a landing page on which the reader/customer arrives, but technically speaking, it’s usually a standalone page, distinct from your other web pages.
A landing page has a single, focused, and definite purpose. A distraction-free page where you commit to offering some sort of special offer, piece of information, training, or a deal in return for their contact information.
Landing pages can be broadly divided into Click through & Lead Generation. Click-Through landing pages are those which lead to another page such as e-commerce sites while lead generation landing pages offer an ebook, free trial, in exchange for email.
The beauty of landing pages is that you can have different landing pages for different categories in your niche, thus targeted toward a more specific audience and this can result in a good conversion rate. Maybe that’s one of the reasons in WA we can create customized home pages.
I have been sooo reluctant to even try Gutenberg, as I feel it is tying my hands behind my back, forcing me to forget the coding that I learned back long before WordPress days.
Sounds like I need to setup a test site and get to work learning to use Gutenberg, especially if the Classic Editor plugin developer ever decides to desert that plugin.
Time to get my feet wet, huh. Thanks again!
Personally I dont use Gutenberg block as I also find it a bit confusing. Therefore I create landling page with Elementor (free) or visual composer instead. Your post is definitely a good reference for anyone want to use Gutenberg to create a landing page!
All the best,
