Now that I watched the video about building a website, I have some questions and really I need some 1-2-3 (in Layman's terms) answers, because I am "NOT" fluid at "Computer Tech" Langues.
So here is my Question(s), I have a Website and a Landing Page for my eCommerce affiliate Business, how/where do I put either or both?

I must say that the video made things a lot clearer for me. I have never really been involved in building websites before but this video educated me quite a bit. Thank you for that. At the moment I don’t have any questions, but I may have once I get started on building my website.

I am SOOO confused!! I feel like I'm trying to bat my way out of a paper bag!! I don't understand what I'm supposed to be putting on my webpage. People keep saying build content towards a landing page but I do not know what that means. Where can I find examples? I feel like I'm going to have a melt down. Was hoping to get this webpage finished today since I work the rest of the week long hours but I can't comprehend general instructions. I need specific details so I can see exactly how number 1 is put together and then leads to number 2 and exactly what these look like. HELP!!

I am ready to create my first website, however before doing so I had a couple of questions, 1.As a Premium member, since I have access to 'Sitespeed' it is best to have it turned on, am I right? 2. I can change the sub-domain name I use now to a domain name I would like to finally use, lately. Right?
Ok in process of creating or as I said in another post building my site. 1st of all this is a blast I enjoy just reading posts and communicating, I will say I start a lesson , and next thing ya know I'm off reading and posting within discussions or...I start researching within the discussions and I find my answers,
I cannot thank this community enough, and to WA for making it possible
Cheers,

Hi everybody. Need some feedback. I have decided to promote the Wealthy Affiliate Program for my niche. I have the domaine name http://www.wealthyaffiliatesonline.com parked at Go-daddy.
Would this be an advantage to use it???? I have 12 other domains parked at Go-daddy but this one seemed the most likely. What are your thoughts?????

I already own a domain name with Go-Daddy. I understand that I can use this already owned domain name when I become a Premium member.
Q: Can I sync the free domain here at WA with Go-Daddy later?
My concern is that my Go-Daddy already reflects my niche and I do not desire to have more than one domain name for it. I don't want to confuse the traffic.

Hi ShaySharone,
Health is such a big topic for adults in that age group. That topic should draw a big following. The hard question is probably what area in health? What are they talking about on Twitter? What pictures are they posting or commenting about in Pinterest? What kinds of exercises are they enjoing? What is the makeup craze?
I will Follow you, if you Follow me, I can follow your success.

I have decided on my niche but would also like to feature more general stuff on the site. My area of interest is combat sports (MMA, Boxing, Thai Boxing, BJJ) and my niche is in the hygiene aspect of combat sports. Can I introduce general content about the world of combat sports or does the site have to remain solely on the topic of hygiene?

How do you put content into your Webpage? You said nothing about that in the "Building You Website..." v.
Is there another video? Or do I go elsewhere to learn this part.
I know it's all point 'n' click, but I still need to know what to point at and when to click.

WA has done it again!
Another very informative video. As I was watching questions popped into my head but then it was as though my mind was being read because my questions got answered.
Building a website is so easy now - when I first started dabbling with websites many years ago we had to learn to code html.
With this system a cave man who has just crawled out of the jungle and never seen a computer could build a website.

Happy New Year everyone!!! I want to wish everyone a safe, healthy and prosperous New Year!!!
The video on website building was packed with info, and I like how Kyle went through everything on the page. I did build the website in the 4 steps, but I'm having a little trouble customizing it. I guess we will be going over that next. I need help with that.

Hey guys, hope you're all having a wonderful day! So, I just went throught the Building your own niche website lesson and I need to pick out a theme. I was wondering if some of you have experience with tutoring websites and which theme(s) would be most suitable for this? Would love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance guys, you all rock! I'm getting more and more excited :)
Once someone becomes a premium member, will the websites published as a starter member be upgraded with all of the premium tools? Also, will companies such as Amazon approve a starter website into their affiliate program, or do we need to become a premium member and get our own domain name first?

I have just gone through the process of creating my very first website!! I am very excited to add content to this site! All of the videos I have watched this far have been amazing! I am VERY new to this entire process, and was very scared at the idea of trying this. I honestly thought it would be weeks before I had a niche, let alone a site to work on. Its been less than 24 hours and I'm following and understanding the materials! I cannot say thank you enough for making this a smooth, and easy process this far. I cannot wait to upgrade, and see exactly how far I can go with all this information and training!

Usually when I hear audio in English active translator, I know that this wonderful place does not have this option, but it would be possible to make the video a little slower, since there is no other choice but to learn English, at least a little more slowly please ... or also a transcript written in pdf would be great ... I want to take 1000x1000 everything you say, but frustrated by the language .. Any suggestions? .. thank you.

I currently have a capture page made in Wordpress that is using the domain I would like to use for my page here. I also want to have a specific link to that capture page for anyone interested in that specific product. How do I go about transferring my Wordpress capture page here, and do I just give it a subdomain name then?
What if you make a free website and it's successful or has potential, would your ideas or domain name get taken before you get a chance to purchase your own domain? Also once you're ready to purchase a domain do you have to build a whole new site? Or can you just change the name of your first free site? Basically just take out the "siterubix" and just have .com

I'm a old web developer and designer. This is so easy, and yes, gone are the days for hiring someone like me! Thus, I am here!
Pay per click was something I did for my own Ecommerce business (Circa 1999-2007) and spent a ridiculous amount of money each year with Google. But I also did the original version of affiliate ads reversing the process of spending to earning on my domains. I had a ton of domains and several had top ratings in Google organically. So, I simply inserted the codes for ads and the first year without even trying I made $4,000 with an initial input of about 2 days online.
But it was labor intensive and I hosted my own domains etc. I soon abandoned that gig for a full time web developer position in the "real 9-5 job...ugh).
This process offered appears to be so far, like a cakewalk for anyone with a desire to put in a little time. It's all pre built - like buying a house already built and having it dropped on a piece of land! Skip the carpentry and hard labor! Can't wait!

Hi Kyle, so here is a question. I am considering to transfer the hosting of my Dutch website (a .nl domain) to Wealthy Affiliate. Right now I build the entire html etc. myself. It looks okay, people love it, but it can look much better. So I could start in site rubix, transferring all my website pages there with the exact same page url name they have right now (like example.html, etc.) and then when that huge job is done, make sure my domain name is linked to the make over version? I don't want a lot of down time okay ;-) Even better: no down time because I have a lot of dedicated visitors that would be in shock if it was all offline... I want all the pages to have the exact same name, because they are already well ranked in Google, so no changes there! What would be the best strategy to work with?
And yes, as a start I'm going to create a brand new international website as well :-D I already researched and found a great and very short .com domain name :-D Is it better to first start building in site rubix and then later on link the domain name? Or register the domain name right away and hide it for google for a while till I have a number of lovely articles etc. published?
My mind is spinning a bit, but I really like this new adventure! I hope my questions are clear to you, if not just ask! Thank you for reading!

This is an amazing front end manager. I've worked with several others and without even finishing the video I can tell this is going to be worth it. All this content and a management platform for only 50 a month(rhetorical)? I've seen other suites that only offer a fraction of what you do for several times the cost. Why would anyone go somewhere else? Am I missing something? What is the catch?
Ok, I have my niche.... Camping and hiking gear for women and kids... is it a good choice to use the free domain and then move it to my own domain later? The comments on here seem to go both ways and I know it is a personal choice... is it really that easy to change it over at a later date?
Also, should my site name be a variation of what I described as my niche or how best to use the concept into a site name?
Thank you for your feedback!!

Question: This video demos how to set up a free site with WA. If we want to own the domain, we click "register a new domain", complete the process of registering our domain, and then must upgrade to premium in order to build the site on our domain? I am ok either way, I just am confused on the process. Can we build our site for free on a domain that we just registered with WA?
Hey, I'm a little concerned. I see mainly the type of websites to create here are niche for those who would like to know about something and helping others (their audience) on how to find/learn about that topic. Not sure how that is going to work with my one of my website interest project. My website goal is not necessarily a "niche" has a project. Wanting to advertise and promote my goal in publishing a book and eventually a movie on a lesser known star? Who is my audience? Those who enjoy classic entertainment? Or would I need to go the route of my audience to learn with me on how to publish a book, then a movie/film?

i want to create a business where i can sell a variety of products will this website builder help me with this? i guess i'm confused about the niche and getting paid to promote products from another site, can someone break it down for me? And if i can create my business with WA, how can WA help me keep track of the sales and progress, i know it must be silly to ask but can anyone explain it to me.

I purchased my own domain name but when I picked a Theme or template to build a website the theme or template did not show up, why is that?
I have contacted support but still could not identify or solve the problem. I have deleted that website twice after keeping it for four weeks. Now I created a new one yesterday and the same problem is showing up again.
Need help here please!

I am glad to have joined WA. I have been busy this week yet I receive emails loaded with helpful learning tools of which I can understand. Thank you Kyle, and everyone who comments and shares information. I am truly grateful. The Niche video and the Creating a website video has helped me tremendously as they were areas of concern. I tend to overthink things and over analyze. The videos were short and to the point. Amazing : )

I also decided on a niche to start with and ready to begin creating the website. When creating the website from SiteRubix, does anyone know if accessing the site's content from a Android/Apple phone device, Android tablet or Ipad works just as good as accessing the site from a PC? Is there a difference in quality?

I've designed a number of sites using WordPress and have them hosted elsewhere. I'm new to WA and looking forward to trying out the SiteRubix, also to see how it compares to my experience with the WP platform. I may end up moving those other sites to be hosted here.
One thing that I'll need to change as soon as I create the first site is the username and password, and that's just from a security perspective. Brute force attacks increase every week, and the first username they use is "admin". So I always create a uniques UN and then a 32-character random password. And I also use a plugin called WPS Hide Login, which masks the wp-admin feature of the back end - also for security reasons.
Aside from that, I use Smush for Image Optimization and Yoast for SEO, but they're similar to EWWW and All in One SEO. All these plugins are available on the WP repository at https://wordpress.org All in all, it looks very similar to building sites as I have previously, can't wait to get started. Peace y'all. :-)

just so I get this right, as a free member any domains created under my profile are technically owned by WA? As a premium member i can use domains that i own, and purchase domains as well? What if one day i decide I want to leave WA, do i get to keep the domain and website that i own?

The training videos and tutorial are excellent. The WA Rubix functions have far exceeded my expectations. I know that making building a website easy to do requires a lot of high-tech architecture and programming under the covers. My initial impression is the you guys and gals at WA have done an awesome job! Accolades to you. I'm ready to rock-n-roll now.

I am having difficulty deciding on a theme. Each has its own set of headers Footers widgets gizmos and bells and whistles. Since I plan to have an interactive blog site largely informational with links to recommended products and related information do I choose from themes that already have these elements are should I just choose what is visually appealing and be able to add and subtract?

I'm here at this website building stage, into my 3rd day at WA. I have already absorbed in the importance of choosing a niche. But since I'm all new to this, I want to know whether I can add features to my site later on, say more drop-down menus, pictures, videos, etc. after it going "live"? And before actually completing the site, will my website go live in its incomplete avatar? Is there an option where I can "save" the finished process but keep the site on hold so that it doesn't have to go live? Or can I launch it in its unfinished stage but let everyone know that certain features/landing-pages on it are still "under construction"?
