There are a lot of flavours in tenacity. I will put out what's on the top of my head about it.
Tenacity takes boldness, courage, stick-to-it-iveness, determination and lots of discipline.
Boldness and courage are somewhat in the same arena and perhaps go hand-in-hand. When learning something new which takes skill and proficiency, you will experience some pretty dark areas through which you travel. It could be writing to an audience, preparing speeches, even going on the Live Chat for some of us!
A Backbone is NOT a Wishbone!
Lacking a backbone, and instead, looking for that wishbone, will not get you beyond your dreams. Tenacity, in its purest meaning is all about the willpower to get through it at personal cost, being fears and uncertainty.
It's not easy mastering anything worth the effort and is the reason why, compared to the entire population, masters are few in number. This is true in memberships everywhere. We've seen the numbers many times pop up
about 5:100, or 5% make the grade in just about every acquired skill on the planet. Some vary a bit one way or the other, but they all hover around that 5%. The same is true right here at WA. I'd say that, due to the nature of how WA is set up, it's on the higher end of this scale. It comes back to the instructional discipline discussed above. The better it is, the better the results. WA excels in this industry for sure.
Determination and consistency are weak areas in many of us, myself included!
...Comes back to how disciplined we are!
In our learning curve having a good mindset as recommended here in your training is critical to our being able to get to what we define as success. Totally agree, an overused and sometimes poorly used term, yet if we are careful to define what success means to us, not having it be just monetary, it will help give impetus to reaching our goals.
Thank you for the time you have invested in creating this. Love that it has bubbled up on a surface that includes me. '-)
