In this video training I show you how to create a new video that is a combination of multiple recordings.

Why do this?

This is useful if you don't have your own video editor, llike me when I am on my laptop.

It's also great for not taking up more space on your computer as the new video is on YouTube right away.

In one sentence:

Simply upload the individual recordings then use YouTube's video editor to add them to a brand new project.

Tips

If you want, you can always set the individual files to private when the combined video goes live.

Do leave me a comment if you have questions, and like this if you found this training useful! Thanks for watching and paying attention.

Just checking, Regina. Can you create a training to omit the sound and feed in the music in the video instead. Thanks.

Thanks, Regina. The three video will automatically form a video series. So it is best to run them as a continue same topic or 3 different topics?

It depends on what exactly you're doing.

I was doing a walkthrough to buy something so i wanted it to be in one video. I had to trim each part before uploading because I wanted to omit some parts that appeared e.g. personal info that is supposed to be private if I did it in one continuous shot.

The uses of this feature are probably many, so it depends on your needs.

That's nifty. Video editor software can be spendy not to mention difficult to use. This is a nice strategy for doing some simple "editing" on the cheap.

Precisely. I have a video editing app I paid for--less than $10. But none for my desktop. So when I have to do screencasts with breaks on my laptop this is the most convenient way to publish them.
