What is a niche?

A niche is simple, it is an audience. An audience looks for stuff online, for example, what are some of the last searches you did in Google. These are ALL niches.

In this video I am going to help you UNDERSTAND what a niche is, how to come up with niches that you are interested in, how to choose a niche...and if you can't come up with your own niche, then I give you a "plan of attack" for getting your business up and running in a pre-selected niche.

Here is what you are going to be doing within this tutorial:

  • Understand what a niche is
  • Finding your very own niche
  • Choosing your initial direction
  • Finding and search for affiliate programs
  • Using Answers.com to uncover niches
  • Understanding Affiliate Bootcamp

A couple of resources I leveraged within this training that you can use for your niche research. These include:

  • Amazon.com
  • Answers.com
  • Google.com
  • Magazines.com

If you have any questions about niches or what direction to go, please let me know and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Since I am a history buff and am passionate about American history specifically, I have narrowed my niche down to "Helping people understand how America is exceptional/unique." I already have a lot of ideas regarding content. Does this sound too broad? I hope not-I'm pretty excited about this topic!

I will try to narrow the niche down to a much small range(have a target/focus) on American History (person or event, place in history(ebook, etc) especially if you teach/taught history. And you may want to point of unique places in American(where, what to do, etc)... hope this help...

The only question is how will you monetize. I can see potential for it but you might want to break it by time periods on the blog so when people get there they can find things that interest them better. I am a history buff also so it sounds good to me.

I'm thinking about narrowing it down to "how America's founding/constitutional form of government make it exceptional." As far as monetization, there are several books, videos, etc which can be promoted that I am familiar with. Maybe someday I could even do an E-book!

I have a group of friends that follow me on facebook in the middle of the night when I can't sleep. I call it the 3 a.m. club. I would like to mold this into some type of niche web page devoted to insomnia, depression, etc...I know poor sleep is a huge problem.Feedback please? I'm just going through the niche selection section of the lessons. This was my first inclination. Also love music, can there be a sub niche within a niche?

I am enjoying this part of the GS (Getting Started) lessons. I like how Kyle is easy to understand, sounds very polite and interested in explaining things simply, and I also like the live guidance while he's talking. I can really appreciate someone who's showing me what they're talking about and then letting me form my own opinions and take notes as I go along. This website seems like is a huge win for me!

how to join Amazon Affiliate program ? and what is the difference between "Get Started Here" and bootcamp? can i join bootcamp if m still learning basic lesson of "Get Started Here" and can earn to promoting Wealthy Affiliate with the help of YouTube ? because i have thousand of people in my Instagram who are searching for right platform....and i guess WA is Great platform for them. and if i start Youtube then who will give me income on views and subscribes?

Hi Kishan,

"Getting Start Here" Course is related to building your website around a niche, usually something you have interest or passionate about. If you don't really have an idea of what niche site to go with, I would suggest you to go through the bootcamp first and learn how to promote WA.

Along the way, when you have some idea, you can always consider starting a niche site.

You mentioned that you have thousands of followers on instagram too. You definitely can definitely share WA with them. Personally, I would suggest you not to share it too quickly. Maybe you want to learn and understand how it works completely, maybe make some money yourself and then start sharing proofs to your followers that you made money by going through the lessons here at WA.

This will build more credibility and the conversion rate will be much higher in my opinion.

Hope I have answered your questions :)

Great information about niche marketing! I've learned that I can expand into a general market through smaller niche markets within that market. Although, an on line niche market can consist of many like-minded customers looking to purchase a related product which can result in multiple sales opportunities. Thanks for the great training!

Thoughtful piece, thanks.
I have some research to-do. Created a Facebook page and Twitter account sometime ago to help my marketing. Now within grasp of getting the product niche finalised.

Yes I know how vague that sounds. It's working towards the niche selection now. Usually I have a productive or service to build around.

I'm a little stumped when it comes to picking a niche. I've always been kind of a jack of all trades, master of none.

On the other hand, I really love helping people and enjoy self help/self improvement books. I don't know I could narrow down this categorry. I also love music and DJing as a hobby.

Finding a good niche seems like a tough task, but it's actually pretty easy. Actually, ANY niche can make money, so you definitely should not worry if your niche is profitable or not. As far as competition goes, that's also something to not worry about. If there's competition, it just means people are making money. That means you can make some too! As time progresses, new products come out, new technology is introduced, new ideas formed, and each change is an opportunity for "the new kid" to get a foothold and overtake established websites.

So the big question is not "what" is going to make money, but "what do you want to make money with?"

In other words, what are your own interests?
What do you think would be interesting to research and write about?
What do you want to help people with?

A good sentence to help you decide your niche is "I want to help people _____"

Helping people is the best way to make money in any business. Everyone wins. Short of that, pick something that you just find interesting.

There are literally thousands of affiliate programs, products, and ways to make money in any niche or industry if you get creative. All of that will come into focus in Level 3 of your training, so for now, we just need to look at getting your topic chosen, your website built, and then start creating awesome content for your business!

Even though you have a wide variety of interests, it's best to pick one, and you can learn to dive deep into this one subject over time, eventually becoming an expert!

Greetings Everyone,

I am extremely passionate about freshwater fish husbandry in captivity, especially aquariums. But since this is a HUGE niche, I have several ideas below & it would be good to get the opinions of others. I do feel quite stuck..

1. Build a niche around the optimal care of a specific species of fish

2. Focus on a class of fish (e.g Freshwater catfish/ class: Bagrids)

Sure, you could do fresh water aquariums or something of that nature. Targeting things in a more specific manner can happen as you start to build out your website.

Yeah, you just don't want to be too broad with your niche/idea, it is the experts online that reap all of the rewards.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

I want to help people that ______________.

Fill in the blank and you are going to be much closer to a specific audience. After you do this and if you want to run any further ideas by me, let me know and I will give you a hand. :)

Is it wise to have two niches? I'm really drawn to both of these directions. One is a more specific travel niche and the other is a more directed affiliate marketing promotional niche. Of course, there's always the fear of spreading myself too thin, but I just don't want to miss out on anything with either niche.

Sue, in my experience, it depends a lot on your working methods. Personally, I prefer to focus on one niche at a time before spreading out, that said, I've heard that DomW, a successful online marketer in our community does it better on several micro niches. So it depends on each person. It's a good idea to ask yourself whether you are more of a multitasker or a focused, zoned in type of person.

my question is can I choose a niche that already has a high authority websites with rich contents and also get traffic to my website? or is it easier to have a website that talks about a rare niche? and also by following your training and methods, is generating traffic to my website will be the same if I choose a rare or a popular niche?
Reply
mickeyb123 Premium
You are asking questions similar to: 'how much does a car cost?'

You want to replicate an authority site so you can make your OWN authority site.

You do not necessarily want to deal with a rare site unless you can bring it to life.

the amount of traffic you get will be based on the promoting you do and the quality of content you provide.

That quality will also help you keep those visitors on your site longer.

I'm excited because I have been working on a list of topics for niches since I very first came across WA a year ago. I didn't join then because I wasn't sure, exactly, who and what they were. However, like it says in my bio, I have vetted many a site and those all want you to use a top ticket item of theirs to sell whereas WA teaches you to really go out and earn for yourself. I know that my direction will be a niche right now and that I have plenty others to create websites, blogs, or vlogs down the road once I get my first one earning moning.

If a niche fits within a well-developed niche, would it still be viable?

For instance, two things I can write about all day would be style and video games. Narrowing down the "style" one, for instance, would be "college professor style," which I have a nugget of with an Instagram presence (The Professorial), but it feels like it would be a niche that's overshadowed by the dearth of other style niches out there. Would it still be worth pursuing?

Something like college professor style I think would be a viable niche, because, as a staff member of a large state university, I see so many people who don't even think about style. There are some who are very stylish-I try to be one of them whenever I can- but budgets are definitely a thing to think about, so stylish stuff on a budget for a college or academic professional would be the kind of angle I would approach.
Reply
Cherigo Premium
Hi RBrown44, yes your subniche would still be viable. As I understand it, all niches are viable depending on how you narrow down on your keywords and write your posts based on them. When you do a keyword search within your sub niche, you will be able to sieve out keywords that when you narrow down on will give you better ratings on search engines. I hope this helps

I know that the beauty market is a huge one to jump in to with a lot of competition. But I am thinking of going after women who are interested in makeup but don't have the money to invest in premium products. As a broke college student I love finding quality products at a low price and I'm sure other people would too, I'm thinking "beauty on a budget" ... any thoughts? Should I narrow it down further?

I think it's a cool idea, as long as you have products you can recommend to earn affiliate commissions.

If you have those products, there's room for you in that niche. Really, any niche can be broken into, but the more defined, the easy it is to rank.

WA just finished a 4 week webinar in the Live Classes Section about building smaller niche sites based on products. You might want to go through it.

Thanks,
Todd

I like that. Just remember though, as I have just found out, that people are going to be looking for your personal reviews on products - you may be able to get some for free, but you are also going to have to buy a ton yourself...
Reply

That's a great niche. I am a teacher, and we're not rich either. A review site of inexpensive beauty products would do very well.

Maybe different kinds of beauty problems could be addressed to narrow it down. For example, I am always looking for products for dark under eye circles - I've yet to find anything. Age spots are another source of embarrassment for women. There are a lot of sub niches.

So really the bottom line about a niche - choose something that you yourself would go online and search... things that interest you, things that you want to learn about. By choosing something like this, it will allow you to make it enticing, appealing, and interesting for others searching about your topic. The more eyeballs you get looking at your site, the more opportunities you have to monetize those eyeballs.

That's gonna be the most difficult for me I guess to choose niche, as I think and read that it is good to be precise to start off, but then I think if I don't like it, and it is not profitable and it would be at some point a waste of time. What are the profitable products to promote, the answer is : "what exactly you like and passionate for", and yet?
Surely I will be going through the channels posted above to choose and comments below will be very much considered

I found this to be quite an important video to dispel any doubts that one might have as a potential affiliate for anything into which one has a vested interest. With so many different options online, it would seem daunting-- I've experienced option paralysis myself, but I would agree that there is no such thing as "too specific." Right now, my particular niche is being juggled between three or four particular categories-- precious metals, musical instruments, or collectibles (antiques, classics, vintage, used, and quirky). As soon as I've decided on a specific niche, only then will I concentrate on expanding my repertoire of that category (I know about gold, silver, coins, platinum, and copper; which can be broken down into mint state grades, jewelry, and bullion; that can be further broken down into bracelets, watches, earrings, rings, tie clips, cuff links, bullion bars in kilogram, gram, troy ounce, troy pound, cost per gram versus bulk orders to get as close to spot, MS-65 or higher grade cents, wheat cents, buffalo nickels, Peace dollars, Morgan dollars, silver eagles, etc. But I can always improve my knowledge of each ONE of these subcategories).

It's all about how confidently you can say you know a product, and the depth at which you know about it can be seen by the audience with your descriptions of particular items on your site.
Reply
Kyle Premium
Yeah, there are so many directions that you can head and this should be exciting to know there is so much opportunity out there, versus creating paralysis.

Do know this. Your first niche does not need to be your last and probably won't be. As you establish yourself and as you build out your business, you are going to be able to diversify and replicate your formula for success across many different niches. :)

The more targeted u are to your ultimate audience the better in the beginning. As your site grows and gains authority u can then expand your scope and start to add new areas that will target even a larger group of people. U are trying to gain authority with your website on the internet. This will gain u trust and more followers. Being too broad in the beginning means u are competing against the bigger name brand sites who already have authority and trust and it will be hard for u to compete with that, with a new website. Hope this makes sense and helps u. :)

Thank you for your comment, that makes sense! But I find it difficult to limit myself to a very specific topic without being a specialist at it.

The whole point of targeting like that is to become a specialist in that area. Thats is how u gain authority and then trust from your readers. It is only for the short term, as your site grows u can expand your specialty into other areas and then gain authority in those and then expand again. This is how u scale up your business and make it grow bigger and bigger. Start small and grow big as you become more proficient in your writing. If you start big u will more than likely get overwhelmed with the load requirements that will come along with having a larger niche. The formula here is tried and true and it works great. I was able to cover my running costs in less than 2 months when I first started using this system that is taught here. If u ask other people I am sure they will explain the same principle but in a different manner, but with the same result. Really target your niche in the beginning. This is the best advice I can give u.

I'll add that a 20 year old male bodybuilder has different goals than a 50 year old woman trying to lose weight. That's one reason why we get specific about WHO we target with our website.

My thoughts on niche selection:
I have interests in the areas of bodybuilding, chess and online poker.

In chess I thought about chessclocks, chessbooks about openings/mid game/end game for beginners/advanced, or what is the best chessboard?

In poker I thought about poker sets, poker books on tournament poker, cash game poker or heads up (which means 1 vs. 1).
What are the best websites to play on?
What are the best websites to learn on?

and the one that somehow I'd like to write about the most:
Bodybuilding. Some ideas are:
-bodybuilding nutrition/supplements (low budget) for students/people in college/over 50

-easy meals to prepare for your day/week/month

-bodybuilding gear like bluetooth headsets for workouts, straps, shoes, t-shirts

-even best music to hear while working out (although that depends on your taste of music).

Are my niches usefull?
My most favourite niche would be bodybuilding nutrition/supplements for students (maybe for vegans or vegetarians if it is too broad to make it more specific).

Would really love to hear some thoughts whether that would work or not because I'm a little bit unsure :)

Have a nice day
Damian

This is one of the hardest decisions you will make. Think of it like a kid in a candy store. Tell the child he/she can only choose one piece of candy! Watch how much stress develops in the child. Without a time limit the child could take hours to decide. With a time limit chances are the decision won't be made until the last few seconds.

The problem with choosing a niche is the sheer volume of choices. Everyone wants to choose the "perfect" niche. In my case it resulted in the "deer in the headlights" syndrome. I couldn't make a decision.

Don't get caught in this trap. Choose something! If its wrong you can always choose another one. The key is taking action and not procrastinating. Trust me, I've been there and done that.

Thank you again for a tremendous amount of information. I was looking as several different niche ideas. I initially was interested in scrapbooking because I love to scrapbook. I am also interested in IPhones and accessories. I will have to look deeper into both ideas because I like them both.

Regards,
Lois

Kyle I really appreciated the information! There are so many ways to make money on the internet. I have an idea about what I wanted to do on the internet. Now, I know how I can actually make money on-line just from a few ideas that popped up in my head while watching this video. Awesome! Thank you again Kyle!

My niche is about travelling, budget accommodation, attractions and camping in my region. It will also cover outdoor cooking and all kinds of interesting tips.

I was lucky enough to know what my niche will be before I started this course.

If anyone else is following this type of niche, especially the outdoor section, I would like to hear from you and maybe we can encourage each other?

I am new here but I was with other company's that were scams and I did Dieting the right way. I did that because it was in the top of what people were looking for. I would have a blog for each category, like healthy eating, exercise, dietary supplements and so on. I also had a page specifically for ads but I think I did that part wrong. I am interested in this niche but I don't think its something that I truly enjoy it. It was a lot of work looking up things under each category and than writing down what I'm gonna put in the blog. Also trying to get some ads going on the ads page but I was writing them down as posts and not as actual ads. That is what I did but should I still do it or change all of it or some of it? I don't know, I'm kinda stuck.

I think that incorparting your bloc and links is the best way to go. Writing content and including a diet plan you are promoting is better than just having a ad for some diet plan. Most people want to read your thoughts on that subject and if it is something that they find that would benefit them they are likely to click on your link. I am no expert in this area but it seems to me that is the best way to go instead of just having a page full of ads.
Hope that helps.

Welcome...! You may want to spend some time thinking of a niche that you feel passionate about. What is something you can discuss fluently? Passionately? Knitting? Reading? Training cats? Find something you love. For me it is plant-based foods.

is travelling on a budget a good niche? I really love travelling, but just "travel" seems too broad. You describe a niche as an audience or group of people and "budget travel" seems to fit that pretty well. Whereas "travel" is so broad that there really is no unified audience. With my last niche, it was so broad that I ended up losing vision for what the website should be and lost all enthusiasm as well. Travel is something I really love and I don't want the same thing to happen again.

Any help would be great, thanks!

I think that would be a lovely niche! A lot of people like to travel, but they get wary from thinking about the cost. So a little guidance would be nice.

That does sound like a good niche, you may have to break it down to separate topics of the traveling aspect of it all. Affordable motel rooms, places to eat, entertainment, site seeing etc..

This is one of the many fun parts of this business... using your creativity to brainstorm and pick something that interests you. Kyle's words of wisdom help in guiding you to that first niche. Remember, niche's don't have to be perfect and you can come up with others later, if need be. Good video!

I was going to go with the WA affiliate course. I do have an RV that I need to get running so I can do some camping and area traveling. I have added some things to it, already. It's an older one, an 1988 Mobile Traveler to be exact. I want to travel with my dog. I just have to get her to want to go with me. She doesn't like vehicles.

It is an interest of mine and I do want to do more of it when I retire..So far, from the video a niche is something I want to learn more about. As this gets off the ground, I can do the bootcamp later. Thanks to Kyle for the inspiration. Onward I go!

Sure, that could definitely be a niche of yours Don, anything can be a niche and you are much more likely to be successful online if you follow your passion (in particular when starting out).

Are we really supposed to focus on a niche that is something we are already familiar with? Because the stuff I'm interested in isn't really a "big seller" or "top 100", so I think would be a harder sell? I would like to have 50-100 niche stores, but I don't have a personal interest in 50-100 things myself....

Hi Tammy
No you do not have to, it is just that for your first website, if u have never done this, they say it is easier if u build something from what u know first until u r comfortable with building websites and then go into other areas of interest. If u want to do something else u can, it is up to u really. :)

If you really do not have an interest on what you are going to promote then it is going to take more effort on your part to make it work. Even though you THINK your original niche doesn't have that many hits it is in the way you present your product.

I am into cue sports, especially snooker. I am thinking about narrowing this down to snooker cues or snooker tables such as what are the best snooker cues to use or the best tables. Do you have any ideas if this would be any good? I would love to hear any thoughts on this.

I really like the niche of snooker, but, for me, cues and tables might be too narrow. If snooker is your niche, you could use your blog to discuss issues, tournaments, rules and product reviews,etc.. Table, cues etc could be your menu pages.

I'm choosing between 2 niches to start. One would be travel, in specific, cruises. The other would be dance team coach/teacher resources. I have experience in both. I am not finding many affiliate programs linked to dance at ALL. Cruising and travel on the other hand- I have found quite a bit. However, there are not many resources out there for dance team coaches and I know it is needed. Any thoughts?
Reply

I really like your niche ideas! I think cruising would be a great one but I think you could potentially gain more of an audience with the dance team coaches! It seems like something that you are really passionate about and could be an untapped niche! Maybe you could affiliate with different programs that more focus on dance clothing? Like wear to buy the best leotards and tap shoes? I don't know a ton about dance so Im not a ton of help but just an idea for you!

Thanks BaileyC! Should the fact that there are only a few affiliate sites with products for dance deter me? For instance, I'm not sure how much content I can write about dancewear :) haha! Should I be picking a niche that has lots of content or would writing a few articles with great content, featuring dance products be ok? How important is it to have A LOT of different content?

This is great food for thought. I have been looking through these comments and have got a lot of answers that i was thinking to ask. Thank you community. One question though! Why do i choose a niche when i have no traffic to sell to? Is it because I need it to decide what kind of website to build? or am I missing the point. Probably a silly question!

There is no such thing as a silly question. When your choosing your niche you are focusing on something that you are passionate about, something you love to do. By doing this it will help you because you know that niche like the back of your hand.

I think there's a lot of people into this niche though and there are health professionals that might have more knowledge but I think that's something I'd like to try for starters.

What aspect of the health/fitness niche do you want to help people with? There are literally 1,000's of niches within these categories and you will want to narrow it down.

I also have a domain name I set up over 5 years ago, when I got involved with a credit repair company based in Michigan that used network marketing to bring in clients, who were already using the services to improve credit ratings, and to monitor identity theft, and would also draft a nice will for you and your wife, all for $500, which was for a full year of credit repair letter writing and support. When my wife became disabled following an accident almost 4 years ago, I could no longer keep appointments from the leads my site generated, so I began referring them to my upline and hoped he could sell them and then send me a finders fee.

I realize my seasoned domain name, and other SEO things I did are valuable, and if I used some attractive funnels, I can gather a lot of names and emails, and offer leads to other credit repair companies here in Michigan who charge much more and have full time professional staff, instead of part time MLMers looking more for recruits and credit repair clients.

So that is a niche I am already involved with, so with more information and how to videos and assistance, I can generate good referral commissions from bankruptcy services, and credit repair, and build a list who many times are looking for a way to buy a home or car, but need to get their numbers up ...

Writing these ideas down here where I can refer back, will help me develop a game plan in between taking care of my wifes needs, and may actually help some other senior citizens realize they can make a comeback, using the internet and technology, even if young millennials with no bank account are needed to show them the way to success.

My oldest daughter just gave birth to her first child, and found out her premie ( 1 month) was calcium deficient, and that she cannot produce enough milk for his needs, especially since after 7 weeks he is now 10.5 pounds! She has been forced to supplement with formula, but her baby spits it up, and cries, and gets constipated easily, which has made her life miserable, and very sleep deprived.
I was told that goats milk works for lots of babies, so I ordered a whole package from a company called Mt. Capra. The very first bottle she mixed up yesterday, he loved it, and fell asleep with a smile on his face! I think this is a niche market that can be a good way to access moms with newborns, and then there are loads of other products for babies and toddlers you can share not only on a blog, but via direct email after they register for more information. The company I found had a great testimonial that was 5 years old, but was so detailed, complete with pictures, I simply called direct and ordered the basic starter package for $184. I then looked and behold, they have an affiliate program that pays 10% for new customers, and as your volume of referred sales volume grows, so does your commissions! So baby products that solve a problem, from formula, to thermometers, to diapers, wipes, butt paste, etc. can be a real niche I can develop with my daughter, who was already using internet marketing to find new customers for her teeth whitenting business and related products.

Kyle Premium
Absolutely, there are markets everywhere we look. There are millions of directions that you can head with a niche and if your focus is helping people, you can absolutely create a very successful business doing so.

If you want to head int the baby products space you will need to narrow things down a little bit though.

What aspect of "baby products" do you want to help people out with? What type? What aspect of the parents journey do you want to help with the most.

The thing I am most interested in is travel / holiday / vacations. My concern is that I am personally interested in researching and learning about places, so there is no product involved. When it does come to the product sale (flights, hotels etc) then that market is fully serviced already. So if I made my niche "cycling vacation / holiday to Italy"

I have done basically that with my fishing lure site, but I do think its important to stimulate visitors with content. You don't have to share personal things. Product reviews and objective conclusions are great. There are lots of sites on the internet that only offer products. It can be more difficult to move up in the rankings without good content.

Good morning everyone,
This is easy. We all have different interest. So what ever "YOUR" interest is then simply SELL it. Your niche is your "interest and the ppl who have the same interest as you do", so sell it online to everyone that has that same interest. I like to lift weights so one of my interest would be "muscle building supplements". I also love to kayak in the warm months so this is another "interest" of mine. Well, ill sell kayak boats and gear and promote possible great locations to boat through out the world or even just my state where I live to make my site more interesting and resourceful. Pretty easy and interesting. SELL WHAT INTEREST YOU AND SIMPLY TALK ABOUT VIA THE WEB SITE. :-)

Kyle Premium
Exactly and those could all absolutely be viable directions that you head within your niche.

And just speaking on behalf of one of the niche ideas you have, muscle building supplements, there are 10,000's of products/services within this space that you will be able to effectively promote to your audience once you acquire it (which the training is going to walk you through)>

Just remember, a PRODUCT is not a niche. An audience is, so when you approach coming up with a niche idea, think of it as a group of people that are interested in something.

When deciding on a niche and trying to narrow down to a more specific niche, I recommend you ask yourself the following question:

Here's something I was told a few years ago when I first started getting interested in the internet as a means to earn an income.
Pick the most popular niche you can find and study its content so you can learn. Then start your own website in that niche because it will have the most "lookers". Therefore the most traffic.

I think we were all taught that but does that make it right? How has that been working for you? I will tell you it hasn't worked at all for me. What I learned was how human I am. I spent years and a lot of money trying everything that sounded good and the "new" thing.

Look it took me obtaining my graduate degree at 57 ti realize I was already equipped with what I needed. I realized my purpose, and my niche became real apparent to me then. I had a lifetime of experiences and was very passionate about it.
Your niche should be pleasurable. Why choose something that's popular, unfamiliar to you, and is going to require researching to learn about it? Are you speaking genuinely about something you know about? Or in my case, leadership and coaching are my passion and I enjoy coaching entrepreneurs and small businesses. That's what I did as an Army Officer. Why would I study about something that requires a lot of time? Stick with what you know...it comes easy.

One thing I would add too is if you look at the top magazines sold in Amazon or at the stores and what they are talking about those are some awesome niches because if they are selling a magazine that talks about it and people buy that magazine than they are going to be searching for what's in the magazine as well.

Because my love is teaching and students with disabilities or giftedness, I have chosen my niche to be Teaching a child with special needs. I have raised two children with special needs and have taught several years in the elementary level students with emotional/behavioral disorders. Many parents struggle with the challenges of behavior and emotions of their child and their educational process, and to make it easier for them, I would like to share recommendations, trainings, and accommodations I have used in raising my children and teaching my students. Teachers may need help in this arena as well because inclusion is a popular route for the student with special needs, however, the teacher may or may not know different strategies to use to help make life comfortable for everyone in the classroom.
