Hello Doug. I'm a new guy....and I have been lost from the get go. It seems to me that Kyle could have designed a method to get started (for dummies like me) that would be quite simple to like a simple outline 1.2.3.4...but such is not the case. I decided on a domain name. What should I do to register this domain name. Thank you for your help in this matter. Tom

When you choose a domain, you are going to want to choose something that is "brandable" versus something that has keywords within it. The reason this is the case is because as you build out your website, you can target as many keywords as you like within the content (that is how you will rank).

I have created a discussion here outlining the process and what to look for when choosing a domain name: This should help you out here and if you ever want to run any domains by me, simply let me know and I will give you some feedback.

PS. You can host up to 25 of your own domains here within the Premium membership on our state of the art hosting platform. :)

My site's name doesn't have a .com available as is. I could put an s on the end but it does not make sense. However...if I put my name in front of my site name 'Mikes.......' .com is available. Would that make enough sense to people when they only see my site name after clicking on my link with my name in front of my site name?

Hi Mike, I'm not an authority on domain names but personally I don't see that it will be a problem. You are creating an identity with a domain name that features your first name. Perhaps you'd like to share the name with others beforehand.

Yeah. I sent Kyle a message directly, asking him the same question. Turns out that I have to wait until Wednesday any way.
Maed a payment on my credit card but it's still not available. Hard time to find money to invest. It'll work out in the end.

Thank you kyle for that video, I must appreciate that you are really helping a whole lot of folks out here including me. Anyway just wanted to ask that with the domain name, am I going to have all the remaining lessons as in the premium membership or is the premium membership still necessary even after l had already purchased a domain name.

So I took JamesAnders1's help and advice and purchased my own domain within Site Rubix. After I transferred my webpage. I really like the webpage I chose through Wordpress, only problem is I went to edit a few things also to download a couple of images I liked that relates to my niche. There is an edit button for the top image but not the bottom image and the images that keep popping up are not even close to my niche.
Can anyone help please!

Hi Everyone,
I am not sure if I am missed something in the video I have watched it three times, but when you purchase your own domain where exactly does it go to? Google? Go Daddy? Bing?
I had almost had everything ready to purchase but I clicked on the Name Mesh site to purchase and it directed to Go Daddy, so I backed out and did not purchase (although it was cheaper).

Hi Wendi
Easy enough to miss...when you purchse a domain here in SiteRubix it's Hosted right here. It's your domain you own it and you can transfer it away anytime, hosting here is top notch.
I've owned domians in all the Godaddy NameCheep Hostgator etc...they may start out cheap but you'll find when renewing the prices jump. Here you get a lot for your money.

*So, to get underway, go to your siterubix tab where it say build your website here.

**It's the light blue tab 4th down from "Activity Dashboard" click and go to Site Domains...find registers & manage Domains.

**Open that.

***From there you'll see a search bar (it's got a magnifying glass in it) type in something you'd like for your domain name.

****A search will happen and you be given some suggestions to look at.

***** You'll see one you like if not repeat the search if so add it to cart and follow prompts to complete the purchase.

It'll go smothly for you...it always has for me. If not you can ask for more help.

Hello Wealthy Affiliate Super Affiliates. I have started moving on our task with a newly bought domain name: websitebuilderfreesoftware. Created About, and Privacy Policy pages and posted my Wealthy Affiliate Review. Also tried a logo at Canva, see below, and this is how it looks:

I thought I have made a mistake in registering the domain and I am requesting WA Management to edit it but no response yet.

How are you doing with our training?
