Is it advisable to have one website per niche? Can't we just have one website and then dedicate pages of that website to specific niches?

The thing is that search engines are testing your site according to the content of it. The more targeted is the whole content of it, the better such website will be evaluated to gain authority. If you blend content from different niches within a single site, that will harm the credibility of it before the audience and Google, Bing and Yahoo as well.

Yes Jimmy, your website is your own to do with as you see fit.

However, the reason Kyle suggests what he does in the training is to make it possible for you to setup and run a successful affiliate marketing website. The steps he offers truly is what works the best.

Hope this helps you.

Each niche has a specific target audience. For instance, one viewer may be interested in your sewing niche, another may be interested in your fishing niche and another may be interested in your technology niche. Your website would have to have great content for each of those niches. However, how confusing would that be to someone looking for technology products, but are seeing all types of products and articles about sewing.

Your website would be a hodgepodge of some of everything. You couldn't market for each of those niches at the same time using the same marketing strategy. There is no way your website could target for one specific niche/

Also, what about your domain name? Your domain name should indicate to people what your business is.

Therefore, my answer to your question would be no. You should have a website for each niche.

Think about how you would react if you thought you were going to a site about one of those niches but got tangled up in a bunch of other stuff you have no interest in. You would be confused and would probably just bounce immediately from that website.

The only way I could see it being done is if you had niches that complimented each other where the products would go hand in hand with each other. It's getting late and my brain is shutting down so I can't even think of any products that would compliment each other, but hopefully, you get what I am saying.

My recommendation is to do separate sites for separate niches for the reason stated above.

verna8767: Thanks for your reply and I do get your point. But looking forward, my concern really is, looking at specific niches I might be interested in, I have realized that maybe at the most, I can only write one page for each niche. In that case, wouldn't it be more practical to consolidate those niches in one website?

Can't I, for example have just one website - toolsandgadgets.com - and then sell in that website through specific pages one meter long screwdrivers, flashlights with dynamo, cellphone telescopic cameras instead of coming up with websites like onemeterlongscrewdrivers.com , flashlightswithdynamos.com, or cellphonetelecopiccameras.com.

One more thing, I also learned elsewhere that search engine ranking is influenced by continuous fresh contents. If I come up with a website like onemeterlongscrewdrivers.com and I ran out of things to say or write about, that website will become static. Wouldn't its ranking in the search engines fall down?

Thanks in advance for any insight on this.

It sounds more to me that you don't want a niche site, instead, you may want to do an e-commerce site. This kind of site allows you to sell different products. It would be like an online retail store.

I have a website that I haven't moved over yet to WA, but when I do I will be more or less setting it up as an online retail store, but I won't have inventory because I use drop shippers.

WA has free themes for online stores, like WOO commerce. Just do a theme search for
e-commerce and a bunch will show up for your review.

Thanks again, verna8767. I find the e-commerce concept interesting but I'm still thinking of affiliate marketing -- like an Amazon affiliate or Clickbank.

Let's say Clickbank. I can have a website like metaconsciousness.com . Then within that website I will sell specific affiliate programs like Quantum Metaphysics Code, Zen Delta Meditation , Astral Adventures, etc. I'll devote pages for these in Meta Consciousness instead of coming up with websites like quantummetaphysics.com , zendeltameditation.com , and astraladventures.com .

Does that sound good by WA standards?

I recommend you go to the help center and click on "Ask a Question". Send your question so it goes out to the community instead of in the classroom chat. You will reach more veteran members who have years of experience and are always willing to help.

I think this is beyond my knowledge now.

My site's name doesn't have a .com available as is. I could put an s on the end but it does not make sense. However...if I put my name in front of my site name 'Mikes.......' .com is available. Would that make enough sense to people when they only see my site name after clicking on my link with my name in front of my site name?

Hi Mike, I'm not an authority on domain names but personally I don't see that it will be a problem. You are creating an identity with a domain name that features your first name. Perhaps you'd like to share the name with others beforehand.

Yeah. I sent Kyle a message directly, asking him the same question. Turns out that I have to wait until Wednesday any way.
Maed a payment on my credit card but it's still not available. Hard time to find money to invest. It'll work out in the end.

So I took JamesAnders1's help and advice and purchased my own domain within Site Rubix. After I transferred my webpage. I really like the webpage I chose through Wordpress, only problem is I went to edit a few things also to download a couple of images I liked that relates to my niche. There is an edit button for the top image but not the bottom image and the images that keep popping up are not even close to my niche.
Can anyone help please!

Hi Everyone,
I am not sure if I am missed something in the video I have watched it three times, but when you purchase your own domain where exactly does it go to? Google? Go Daddy? Bing?
I had almost had everything ready to purchase but I clicked on the Name Mesh site to purchase and it directed to Go Daddy, so I backed out and did not purchase (although it was cheaper).

Hi Wendi
Easy enough to miss...when you purchse a domain here in SiteRubix it's Hosted right here. It's your domain you own it and you can transfer it away anytime, hosting here is top notch.
I've owned domians in all the Godaddy NameCheep Hostgator etc...they may start out cheap but you'll find when renewing the prices jump. Here you get a lot for your money.

*So, to get underway, go to your siterubix tab where it say build your website here.

**It's the light blue tab 4th down from "Activity Dashboard" click and go to Site Domains...find registers & manage Domains.

**Open that.

***From there you'll see a search bar (it's got a magnifying glass in it) type in something you'd like for your domain name.

****A search will happen and you be given some suggestions to look at.

***** You'll see one you like if not repeat the search if so add it to cart and follow prompts to complete the purchase.

It'll go smothly for you...it always has for me. If not you can ask for more help.

Hello Wealthy Affiliate Super Affiliates. I have started moving on our task with a newly bought domain name: websitebuilderfreesoftware. Created About, and Privacy Policy pages and posted my Wealthy Affiliate Review. Also tried a logo at Canva, see below, and this is how it looks:

I thought I have made a mistake in registering the domain and I am requesting WA Management to edit it but no response yet.

How are you doing with our training?
