Welcome and thanks for visiting Shawn's Tutorials!

In this tutorial we will cover how to change your Whois Guard settings at NameCheap.

I will be assuming you already have this feature on your website. If you do not, you must visit NameCheap and purchase it before we can continue.

It is a nominal fee for a year.

It is vital to have this setting turned on to keep your website private and keep hackers from being able to get your personal information.

With this setting off you can be subject to all kinds of spam not only on your website but your personal information will be visible to anyone who cares to look it up.

OK, if you are ready, then lets get started!

Nice post Shawn... and to all who do not use this feature on there sites, they should. It is very important for your personal info protection... For me, it is worth every penny... and it is not very many pennies. Check it out!
