Your Logo is a brand signature which people come to know over time. It is at the forfront of your content and helps to get your name out there. It appears over and over again to signal your presence.

So, when it comes to creating one, Canva makes short work of it so you can get your brand out there as quickly as possible.

Here are the steps...

1a. Brand-Kit. If you already have a logo you can save it to your Brand Kit accessible from your Canva Dashboard to your left. You can also save your brand colours here too for future reference and to use in your designs. Here are my brand colours in my Canva Brand Kit.

1b. To design your logo from scratch in Canva, start by choosing the 'Logo' template menu by scrolling left or right in the template selection bar under the Canva featured image on your dashboard. The 'Logo' template menu looks something like this...

2. Click the 'Logo' image to open up a wide selection of of 'Logo' templates. The Logo dimensions are set at 500 x 500 pixels by default.

3. Use items such as Elements, Text, Backgroud to use in designing your logo. The simpler your design the more it will stand out. I used just two items from the menu to create the following logo - Elements and Text.

Canva gives you an example of what the logo looks like on a business card and gives you an option to personalise your business card as seen in the following pick.

Remember to save your logo and brand colour/s in your Canva Brand Kit for future use.
