I'm including a list of overheads that may or may not be relavant to your needs that you may be able to claim on tax or claim as a percentage from your home costings, after all remember you are running your business from home.

Please bear in mind your expenses may vary from what I have included here.

  • Accounting fees (getting your tax done)
  • advertising
  • Banking/exchange rates between countries
  • cleaning your office/room
  • General expenses
  • Heat, light, power (claim a percentage for working from home)
  • Insurance
  • legal fees (set up your business name and other factors)
  • Motor vehicle
  • Printing
  • Repairs and maintenance
  • Computer maintenance (computer issues)
  • Rent
  • Telephone and internet (internet use to access WA, WordPress etc.)
  • Subscriptions/Memberships (WA)

Different countries may vary on what is allowed to be claimed when running a business from home. So please check with you Taxation authority (eg. Australian Taxation Office (ATO)) for your country.
