Setting Up Single Autoresponders
There are several services available online you can use in setting up your autoresponder system.
Top 10 Autoresponder Services Today:
- Aweber
- MailChimp
- iContact
- ConstantContact
- InfusionSoft
- GetResponse
- iShoppingCart
- Office AutoPilot
- Campaign Monitor
- Autoresponse Plus
Regardless of the program you choose, you can set one up using the following very basic steps:
- Create your opt-in event. Think of what you'll give in exchange or your site visitor's name and email address. (e.g. special report, newletter, ebook, video, etc.)
- Set up an autoresponder feed that sends your opt-in responder's contact information to a database (a file folder within the autoresponder software), which you'll create and name. This is easier than you would imagine with today's technology.
- Compose a message that welcomes your subscribers and includes the promised information.
Again, there are times when using single autoresponders make sense, but most of the time... you'll use these tools for sending out a series of scheduled messages with the aim of building rapport and relationship.
Now, let's move on to sequential autoresponders.

Coach Gom,,
Thank you for sharing this great short but sweet training. One thing I learned is that most ARs provide opt-in forms. I feel like that is such a simple thing which I could have learned long ago. A highly kept secret by some IMers, perhaps? Anyway, no time like the present to learn and put into action! Thank you again.
Best,
Jamie
