Step 3: Craft Your Emails Creatively
Start by composing a message that welcomes your subscribers, reaffirms their wise choice, and excite them over wonderful content they'll soon receive. Then, once you create the message, set a delivery schedule. It will continue to be sent automatically, and without you having to lift another finger.
Here are some tips:
- Personalize your message. For higher "open rate", use your recipients' names. This can be done by simply using merge codes, which automatically place specified data like first names into your messages.
- Advise your subscribers to set up a folder in their email accounts to store the content you'll be sending for future use. That way, they'll be like to refer back to it at a later date. Here's a trick: If they include an exclamation point (!) before the folder name, it will bring it to the top of their folders list.
- Instruct them to add your email address to their "safe sender" list. That will make sure that your emails can get through your recipients' spam filter.
- Tell them exactly what they're going to receive. Remind them of the wonderful content they're going to receive.
Remember, most of our visitors are busy, so make emails short and simple.

Coach Gom,,
Thank you for sharing this great short but sweet training. One thing I learned is that most ARs provide opt-in forms. I feel like that is such a simple thing which I could have learned long ago. A highly kept secret by some IMers, perhaps? Anyway, no time like the present to learn and put into action! Thank you again.
Best,
Jamie
