Throughout your online experience you will come across many stats and wonder if they are of any use to you.

Can you just ignore stats?

Stats are there for you to use in increasing your business and knowing what is working and what is not working. So the answer is no you can't ignore stats if you want to use your time profitably.

Stats don't often have good descriptions as to how they work or what they do, they can be a mine field.

The first one I will deal with is 'bounce' rate.

I read Mat's comment on my posting challenge post and thought, hmmmm, that might make for a decent tutorial.
