I have just created some fairly basic Twitter training, from what I hear, it seems that many people do not understand how Twitter works, hopefully this will help you understand a few basic principles of Twitter. I often hear people say, "Twitter, what a load of rubbish, I just don't understand it"! I'm sure that you have probably heard things like this said about social media platforms! There are millions of Twitter accounts, with many companies promoting their brand on this platform, with numerous people using this platform, I feel that that we can't ignore it!

I have been using Twitter since around 2009 and I did receive some training myself in the early days to get me started, which was very useful! Sometimes a few tips and dos and don'ts can go a long way!

Personally I find Twitter much easier and quicker to use than Facebook, especially from a mobile phone, having said that, I much prefer to work from a laptop.

Please feel free to leave your questions and comments below.

Thank you for watching.

Roy

May I ask a question? How do I keep my personal Facebook account from showing up on my business Twitter account?

You should create a separate business account for each social platform that is important for your business ... Then connect your Facebook business account with your Twitter business account

OK Dennis,

I was suggesting to use a business Facebook account and to replace the current connection,

If you don't want to do that, here's another suggestion:

From the Settings menu on Twitter, visit the Apps tab.
Find the Facebook connection and click the Disconnect link.
Sign out of both your Twitter and Facebook accounts.
Close your browser; clear your cache and cookies if you know how.
Open your browser and sign back in to both accounts.

regards.

Is the issue that Twitter is logging you in via your Facebook account? That is the only setting there is for Facebook login, you cannot have your Twitter log in with your Business Page.

However, Twitter will not show your personal Facebook information as far as I know. If they do, then you just need to NOT log in with your Facebook account, and not connect the two accounts. Log in with your Twitter ID (email, password).

let me know if that answers your question Dennis!

Good training Roy really enjoyed it. I am sure this will help others as well. For the record, I also agree that people who don't understand, don't bother to find out how it works

As far as the Social Networks go it is one of the easiest to use, which is why it works so well
