If you are getting high traffic numbers, have a low bounce rate but no conversions it is time to stop and take stock. That means stepping back and taking a good hard look at your website. You need to become your own website critic. View your site through your customer's eyes.

Make sure your site is easy to navigate, that your visitors can find what you want them to do. Remember, you can't sell a secret so be sure what you want is visible and easy to understand.

When someone lands on your site you want them to do something. A problem arises when they can't find what it is you want them to do. You need to tell them simply and clearly what you want them to do.

But first of all, you need to decide what it is you want them to do. Do you want them to subscribe to your blog, click on something, follow a link, contact you or download something or do you want them to buy your product? Whatever it is you want them to do you need to make it very clear to your visitors what they need to do.

That is true with anything in the Internet. You can sell a free book on Kindle - and link to your site where you sell something for real.
