Buying and Selling Paid Ad/Text Links

If you’re the type that always loves to buy or sell paid text/Ad links online just to boost your search engine traffic, know that you’re highly-likely to get ostracized and thrown away from Google’s search results soon. Google hates all these and, thus, frowns at it whenever it gets you caught in the habit of using it for building site traffic. Google regards this as one of the wrong ways to build traffic.

Google supports the building of links the right way, but doing it the wrong way will lead to receiving a hot slap.

Revamping Robots.txt file

The Robot.txt file is the route through which search engines access your website any time they want to access it for ranking purpose or otherwise.

When anyone of these search engine spiders visit your site to index, crawl, or rank your content, it accesses the robots.txt files first and follows it accordingly. Thus, you’ll hurt your site so deeply and prevent search engine bots from crawling your content by revamping the robots.txt file.

Be very careful while trying to modify the robots.txt file lest you destroy your site in respect of this.

Tricking Search Engine Spiders

Tricking is the act of disguising to Google by displaying some particular content to search engine bots while you display different content to readers/visitors. Once you’re caught in this habit, you’ll surely get penalized. Google regards this as a false activity.

For example, if users search for some specific content through specific keywords, but find that you don’t have what they expected they would find on your site, they’ll get terribly disappointed in your brand and won’t hesitate to click away from your site never to return.

Thanks for the important info. I'll make sure I only stick with our training, if it's not in the training, I'm not using it. It is safer this way.
It would be a failure for sure if Google disapproves my site for unethical stuff. I cannot afford that!

Fortunately I don't do any of the 'bad' things that upset Google. However, the bots thing has me worried. I work hard at increasing my social media presence and for some reason Instagram believes I use bots (which I definitely don't). I'd hate for Google to think I use them. Jim
