Use Alphabet Soup for Timely Data

For timely data, use the alphabet soup method. You will get instant information on what keywords are getting what results.

The three biggest advantages of using Alphabet Soup are:

  1. FREE
  2. EASY to USE
  3. TIMELY

Easy to Use & Timely......

This technique is used when you search within Google to uncover common keyword phrases that are being used currently. You can conduct a "practice" or "pretend" search in Google by paying close attention to phrases that pop up underneath while you are typing in a keyword phrase. For example, enter the words "apple vs fbi" as shown here:

Now look to see how many searches have been done recently using this keyword:

There have been almost 40 million searches done recently on those keywords. That is slightly more than what the WA Keyword Tool has reported from last month.

Now, just type in the word apple in the Google search bar as shown below and look at the keyword choices that pop up below. The top three or four relate to the apple privacy lawsuit.

The top three choices as of the creation of this training here:

  • apple vs fbi
  • apple privacy lawsuit
  • apple fbi

You know from this that those three keywords are good choices to use when needing to write a timely newsworthy article on this topic.

The one disadvantage is that you will not get as detailed information as you might with Jaaxy or the WA Keyword Tool, but you will get pretty good data to work from.

On the next page, I will outline some recommendations when using the alphabet soup.....

Hi Steph, I purchased Jaaxy cause there was a special and I had to do it right away or I would have had to pay the regular price. I am still at the beginning and not quite finished with lesson 2 yet. Did I make the right decision purchasing it now or would I have been better off using the alphabet soup method for now?

I did ask Kyle back then if I should purchase Jaaxy but I never heard back so I just figured I would get it then. I am paying 19 a month but haven't used it yet. I don't know if I should keep it.

What do you think? and thanks for that info.

Another issue is the dissimilarity between how Google operates versus How Bing and Yahoo operate. h2 subheadings on your front page carry much heavier weight with Bing and Yahoo than they do with Google. Google sends many visitors to sites thru the back door, a page other than the intended front or landing page.

That is interesting. I had not know about the <h2> heading carrying more weight in Bing and Yahoo than Google. I know the search engines all have different algorithms but do not know the specifics. Thank you for the information. Do you know of a website which lists all of the algorithmic differences with each search engine. That information may not exist (trade secrets) but thought I would ask.

I'm basing a lot of this on my own experience without knowing what is actually on the search algorithms. When you find big differences in the way you are ranked with different search engines you begin to piece together some of the reasons for it.
