Hi Marion,
I've now added and published the new theme and am satisfied with the appearance. I will eventually make some adjustments. However I tried to google my posts and none were found although I used to be on the first page in the number one or 2 positions.
I also noticed that although I have a Home title and description in my SEO it's not published on the site under HOME. I had made some changes a few days ago to the text to make it more suitable for the niche. I don't know if that's the reason.

Go to Settings > General to set the Site Title and Tagline. The SEO plugin doesn't always work for that.
To find out what's been indexed type site:example.com into the address bar of your browser (with the colon and no spaces).
