Your Store can be accessed through your menu tool bar when you add it, you can also have your products on your side menu by adding it through a widget.

Once you have done the frame work it is al about building it out. You can add items, delete them, update them if you need to. You can set up promos and sales on certain items..

Having an online store is not just about selling tangible products. You can set up PDF's that can be sold online through your store. For example; if you have a traveling niche website, you could create adventure guides for all the things you did and sell the itinerary to future travelers. Or what about a healthy diet site, you could create shopping lists and meal plans for your visitors to buy... Lots of great things can be done...

One thing to remember, this is a plugin, if you too have many plugin's on your site it will delay loading time and could cause visitor frustration and potential loss of traffic. Just food for thought to keep in mind.

I hope I was able to offer some help with this...

If you decide to open your own e-commerce store I would love to hear about some of the products you will be creating to sell... please drop a comment below..

Thank you for tuning in... Until next time...

Which theme do you recommend? There are a few that are built for ecommerce.

Honestly most themes I have come across have been compatible for the plugin. When you go to install WooCommerce it will tell you if it is compatible for your theme.

I did add the plugin to a site that was listed as 'not tested for this theme', and it works just fine. The layout is a little different from an other site Woocommerce in (that site was compatible) but overall still happy with everything.

Hi Stephania

Was just wondering if Step 4 is there or only me who cannot see it?

Thank you for the training, I was planning to add a store to my site or a plugin that would allow visitors to purchase items so this looks perfect :)

Regards,
Kamil

That's great, I really hope this helps. I'm going to put together phase 2 today with a step by step on how to add your products once you have the plugin ready to go... good luck with developing your store
