Hi everyone, I was given a suggestion that some of you may want to see the step by step process for adding items to your e-commerce store once you have created it.

We will start this example from after you have installed and activated the plugin...

Step 1: Once you have activated the plugin make sure you go through the setup process, if you don't you won't be able to add the shop, cart, and account pages to your menu bar.

Select the pages you will like to show in your menu bar, and click add to menu. Once they are added to your menu list to the right, you can move them around and place them where you want. I put shop as a main title, and had cart, checkout, and my account as sub pages below it.

Also, When you get the WooCommerce plugin it installs a series of widgets that you can add to your side menus on your site. There are 12 different options. You don't need to use them all, I personally just use the cart, and the product list widget.

Step 2: Now as soon as you complete the set up process it will prompt you to create product right away. I choose to skip that step for now and get my pages set up in my menu and then go back to creating my product. I doesn't matter what order you do this in, it was just what worked for me.

Ok lets create some product...

Hi Lynzy, it's listed on Sophie5391's profile page and it should be listed on the right side menu under the "Training" section...you'll have to scroll down a bit to see it.

Hope that helps!
Best wishes :) ~Sherry

Your a darling Sophie! Thanks so much. This is great.

Just a quick question. If I am selling an affiliate product does it allow for those links in the page?

Cheers, Kev

Hi Kev, I'm happy that this offers some help :) and yes, when you are creating your main description or product description in the new product window, the same icon and process we would use to add affiliate links to our pages and posts is available for you... good question!
