A quick walk through to adding pages/ posts to menus for a friend. Sorry there is no audio...

Keep in mind that Posts are automatically added to your blog roll and Pages need to be added to your WordPress menus or widgets.

Hope this helps. I know Kyle has done this training, I just could not recall where to find it... Feel free to drop the links / resources in the comments if you have found them. :)

Hi Marc, How do I get the roll post on the Home page? When you go to my site, you see the roll post, but it does not appear on the Home after I go to other post. Can check at www.mythewebsite.com Thanks

Hey Sadie.

I am not sure that I understand. Could you explain a bit more?

I want the roll blog to appear on the page I set as home as a default page. But is unable to do so.
When you go to my site, you will see the roll blog.

Hey Sadie

Still not 100% sure, but from what I can see, your site is set up as follows;

mythewebsite. com is set as a static page and linked directly to your "Getting Started" page.

Your menu item "Home" is linked to mythewebsite. com/blog, which is your blog roll.

Looks like you have been having some fun ;)

You can go to "Settings" > "Reading" and change it back so your "Front page displays" > "Your latest posts".

If this doesn't work, then go to "Appearance" > "Customize" > "Static Front Page" > Select "Your latest posts".

this will set your blog roll to the url mythewebsite. com

Then change your menu item "Home" to direct to mythewebsite. com as well.

If I understand what you want to do... This should work.

Let me know.

Hi Marc,

Thanks for the reply and as you saw my site, I will stick to it as the most desirable one.

Think by default, I can't have the Front opening page and the home page as my Blog roll.

Thanks again for helping.
