Backlinks Are One Of Many SEO tools
Let me start by saying, backlinks are only one of many Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools and if you want to rank on top consistently, you will need to learn them all.Backlinks alone will not get you to Page One. You need to know how to choose keywords, write articles, build social networks, engage your readers, and many other things as well.
This training, is designed to explain backlinks and thier importance. Many of you may be surprised to hear that backlinks are not as important as they once were!
I feel I need to stress something here. The single most important thing you can do to get ranked number one is to write quality content and help your users. If you do that, you don't need to do article marketing, SEO, backlinks, or anything else.
On the flip side of that coin, if your content is not top notch, it will make absolutely no difference how many backlinks you have. Google is set up now where they put more emphasis on user interaction.
It will take a combination of both high quality content and SEO to rank well in the search engines. Yes, great content alone can get you ranked but it's still best to have both.

Remember, in Google's eyes, it is better to have one quality backlink than it is to have one million spamlinks (as I like to call them). In fact, spamlinks can hurt your site rankings and get you blacklisted.
The good news is, you don't need to buy spamlinks. It is very easy to get quality backlinks that will never have a risk of hurting your site.

Street articles was closed years ago, and submitting your content to article directories is an out of date process. Put your content on your site first and foremost.

Hi Thomas, Leoemery is correct, it's best you write the content on your own site. You WILL get traffic if you continue using keywords and writing content on your website on a regular basis.

No you don't want to do that at all - article marketing is dead.

If you want to get backlinks for guest posting then you should probably just ask site owners of the biggest sites in your niche. Doing them on those article site won't do much. You must do it on relevant sites to your niche for them to work.
I still think spending the energy to make sure the content on your site is solid is better time spent.

This training is from 2012. Google has made so many changes since then and this is not an effective strategy anymore - to do article writing on those zine type sites.
That is why you finding relevant blogs in your niche to guest post on is better for backlinking because Google sees it as more relevant.
