One of the biggest struggles for a "content marketer", or someone that earns money by writing articles on their website, is thinking of what to write about. For a newbie, this task can seem impossible, especially as you are writing your first few pieces of content.

On top fo that, even if you know what you want to write about, you'll often wonder if it's worth your time, of if you'll be spending your time writing something no one will ever read.

I find that whenever I stress about stuff, I like to organize a schedule, a template, or some kind of format to follow so that I don't have to think too much about what I'm doing.

Just get the work done!

In this training, I'm going to present 8 basic article format styles that you can use on any website, with any topic.

Many of them are targeted at low-competition keywords, so they will be easy to rank. Some do not even have to target specific keywords, and can still rank for lots of unintended search phrases.

The goal of this training is to give you a couple formats to follow so you can think less about "how" to write content for your website, and focus more on creating quality, interesting articles that people want to read.

8 Article Styles

  1. Reviews
  2. Comparison
  3. Question & Answer
  4. Tutorials & How To's
  5. Roundups
  6. Top 10 Lists
  7. Trending Topics
  8. A to Z Explainer

3x a week until you get at least 100 posts, then you can begin to cut back (but I wouldn't).

Hi Swatia,

This is one of those incredible situations where I'll take the courage to disagree with Mel (onmyownterms) ...

The 3x a week formula is the most common approach ...

Still, in my opinion there is no magic formula here ...

Blogging is not mass production. Blogging is about providing value and high quality content on a consistent basis. In other words: don’t choose quantity over quality! If you need a week to craft a new masterpiece, accept the fact and move on. All you have to do, is to develop – and to respect – your own regularity ...

If you can do that 3 times per week, you have all the chances to become the new rising star of the blogosphere ...

But if you need a month to create a really helpful and valuable content masterpiece, accept the the fact and respect your own publishing schedule ...

More than that: writing three 500 words articles per week is one thing, and creating three 5,000 word monster-posts in one week is a completely different task :)

(sorry Mel)

You're welcome Svatia!

And yes, I can tell you from my own experience: it makes sense and it's the only way that really works :)

Don't be sorry, I don't do 3x a week, I just recommend it as the standard. I have a totally different method not taught here - I put my sites under a maintenance plug-in until they reach 100 posts - which I can generally turn out in a month or two - then I submit my sitemap with 100 pieces of content from the get-go.

I use the 3x a week because if I tell them how I do it (see other comment), they faint.

Thank you for your post but tell me do I have to review products only that pertain to my neich?

You should only review products related to your niche- if you have reviews of random things on your site then it would make no sense on your website
