1) No Hook
You only have about 10 seconds to get the viewers’ attention when your video starts playing. Make sure there is a hook to keep them watching.

Tell them the benefits of why they should watch the video in full. “Hi I’m Dave Barber In the next few minutes I’m going to show you how to rob a bank and not to go to jail”

Get their attention as soon as possible.

2) Not Rehearsing.
Want to sound wooden and insincere? Then don’t rehearse. If you want to sound like President Bush "I know what I believe. I will continue to articulate what I believe and what I believe -- I believe what I believe is right." --Rome, Italy, July 22, 2001. Then don’t rehearse.
