Ever found yourself staring at a blank computer screen without knowing what topics to write about? If you're like most writers, chances are you've been caught up in this situation before. It might even be a case that keeps reoccurring each time you lack new post ideas.

I've been there before and I can tell you that there's nothing wrong in trying to conjure a new post idea. However, there are ways to deal with the situation, so you're never left stranded on what to write about.

And so I've put together 7 helpful tips to help you overcome the lack of post ideas. If you're not too busy to learn something new, then tag along; let's explore the tips together

1 - Find the Questions Your Audiences are Asking

You may have got to the point where you seemed to have exhausted all topic ideas for your next blog post. But have you tried finding out the questions that your audiences are asking?

That's a good place to start sourcing for the new post ideas you can blog about. In fact, if you adopt this approach, you will be left with more than enough blog posts to last you a year.

One of the best places to start is Quora which is a free platform to get loads of questions and answers on any niche.

You can follow topics that are related to your niche and find out the kind of questions that your audiences are seeking answers to. And these questions can be used by you to form the basis of your next topic.

You can also get questions from platforms like Reddit and Yahoo Answers where questions are raised and answers provided. You will find lots of topic ideas that can be used for your next blog post from these Q&A platforms.

Thanks, Israel, for these wonderful tips. I have been using spreadsheets a lot these days to track my efforts with a variety of things, including keyword research and keeping track of blog post ideas. It has been very helpful because I used to write pretty much in my head but then when it was time to put pen to paper (or, in my case, fingers to keyboard) I would forget what the "perfect" sentences I had created in my head were for the post I was writing. Using spreadsheets to keep track of this has made it a lot easier.

Thank you very much Israel for your advice. Ideas are like the spinach that Popeye the sailor consumes. We need them to be brilliant in order to make our writing unique and above all very attractive.
