Every marketer looks forward to having their social media posts go viral. It's a great payoff for all the efforts and time put into crafting your social media content. And as if that isn't enough, you will enjoy the massive brand engagement and earn some new leads.
But going viral isn't something you sit down to plan because there's no known formula for it.
Rather, you can deploy proven and tested methods to drive your posts. And these methods have been seen to work, no matter the platform they are used on.
So, whatever it requires, these 7 steps should help you produce viral content for social media.
Step #1 - KYA (Know Your Audience)
It's a clear fact that you are not going to create social content for everyone because not everyone fits into the profile of your ideal audience or customer.
So you have to do a little "screening" by first identifying those who fit into your audience profile. This profile is referred to as a user persona, and it is a must-have for every business.
It is simply a created idea or representation of your ideal audience or customer. It's used to describe the unique qualities of your audience, such as age, sex, location, disposable income, etc.
Once you have a clearly-defined user persona, it becomes easier to connect with your target audience. Don't forget that your social media posts will be consumed and shared by this same audience.
So, once you do this step well, you can communicate in a way that your audience can relate with.

#4 is absolutely correct, many times they've paid for bogus followers, thus their engagement is relatively low or nil -- Kyle had also pinpointed this fact in his training. I prefer fewer followers, more engagement likes comments; quality matters more than numbers
One thing more I forgot mention, asking questions more often -- it invites people to engage!
